I definitely see a difference in how homes are built and you can tell who really puts the common sense thoughts into their homes that are important to people. Some companies do a terrible job laying out interior of their homes. what I mean like the front entrance, when you enter a home do you have a place to put your coat and shoes? A good entrance is inviting and you will have these options. Living room! Is it right next to a bedroom where you may not have good privacy being that close. Laundry room, is it big enough to put your clothes baskets? Can you fold clothes comfortably? All these little things can be important. I really believe you should do ratings and hopefully this will create improvements for those that build these homes.
Timothy, this house is where it's at!! It has a real cozy, comfy, look, to it!! It like you are going into a celebrity house 🏠🏡!! I love the artwork, the furniture, and the ambiance of the bed and bathrooms!! Also, The Laundry Room is just perfect!! The patio, is fierce!! Just keep bringing us more!!

Thank you for sharing this home! We just broke ground for our new home which has a floor plan layout very similar to this, but it’s not an open-floor plan. I’m over the open floor plan noise and kitchen smells permeating other areas! This video has been very helpful!

I LOVE this home!!! I would finish the basement with a bedroom and en-suite and also a tv area, make the formal dining room my office, utilize the island with more seating and close in the patio to add more dining seating outside to compensate for the loss of the formal dining room.

I love the layout of this place, but still no tub in the master bedroom. I would have some ideas about the basement.❤❤❤👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟
The master bath is almost perfect. A louvered door to make a water closet is all it needs. I would also replace the tub in the 2nd bath with a shower unit. I have no need for a formal dining room. I would add a wall between it and the living room for a parlor or an office. With these minor changes, this house would be perfect. i would add at least a powder room in the basement. It's big enough to have a home theater, game room &/or playroom for the little ones.
This model center in Norton is about 20 minutes away from me. Will have to visit sometime. That said, I thought the kitchen was pretty small and there’s no room in the laundry room to hang clothes. As for a formal dining room, most people nowadays don’t use or need one. I would rather see a home office space there that’s more functional.
Yes I would want a 🛁 bathtub in the masters bedroom

I love the kitchen but i would do .y tv above the fire place and i would do the couch in front if the fireplace so you haveore slace to walk and i would do the dining ehere it is now and no breackfast nuck

There’s no window in the master! Am I the only one who opens all the windows in the fall and spring? I’m not leaving the glass door open. That’s a big fail.
The kitchen is woefully short of upper cabinet space which means no matter how much I like this home which everything else looks really nice I couldn't consider buying it because no place for necessary things.
I agree with you. No where to put the dishes away. That’s a problem with the open floor plan. No walls to hang cabinets on.
Upstairs is so elegant and pretty! Every room is just gorgeous aaaannnd then it comes crashing down because they dropped the ball with the basement. Seriously, how many potential buyers are walking through there getting more excited with every beautiful room then crashing back to,earth with the ugly basement. Honestly, it looks like thembuilder cheaped out or got lazy and said..ehh good enough.

I've noticed a lot of these Ohio homes do not have the water closet feature in the primary suite.
Nice floor plan, but the doors are not appropriately sized for the ceiling heights.....Get with it. I know this is supposed to be a more budget friendly alternative, but getting it right would not cost much more. Another miss is the height of the basement walls. It will be claustrosphobic if it is finished. There are three different eating areas--a formal dining room, a "Breakfast area" and counter seating. A bit of overkill; unless you are operating a B&B.

I really like the layout of this home. I did like that the kitchen was not visible when entering the front door. My only suggestions would be to eliminate the niche in the foyer, it’s so 1980’s and I would expand the laundry area to be wider to accommodate a drop zone for shoes and book bags etc. Personally, I would not want french doors leading out from the master suite to the patio, I would rather have a larger window.

Need to stop designing kitchens in favor of massive openess that sacrifices cabinet space. The eating counter area as well as the whole wrap around sink area could have a upper cabinet section wrap around that only comes down as far as the cabinet and is only as high as the cabinets still leaving open space above and open counter space below with full view to the living room and breakfast area. My house had this on the dining area side so I know how it would look and feel and how much more storage you can obtain from it which this kitchen is really bad for kitchen storage.

Something strange has happened when a quarter million gets you only a budget home: tiny rooms, tiny closets, no tub in master, no pantry, no finished basement. It is a lot more than I have, but home prices are CRAAAAAZZY.
