Hands down,One of the best interview Insight. What made it interesting was Micah questions and caught in comments, Ellis is on another level his quick solid response is something people study for years, really something
Thanks a lot. I'm hoping to learn more about sound engineering for videos so that I can become better on that. I'd be happy to take some advice on how to improve on that. Thanks again🔥🔥
@@micahnettey No problem brother just keep up the good work. These kinds of things are good but good content are what makes your videos interesting in the long run.
As an upcoming podcast host I would give You more credibility if You would provide links to verify the claims that are presented in the video. The bigger the claim the harder it is to believe it. Nowadays everyone can start a podcast and say a lot of things. Upon quick google search someone can see that Ellis was just an intern at Google for a couple of months.
That's valid. Thanks for the comment. I think during the interview, he explains how all these play out, and the claims can be verified on his LinkedIn. Going forward, I think I'd ask the guests if they'd want to leave links for the audience so that verification is easier. Thanks for the comment again
ok so they were hiring for distributed system which you had no experience in and you still got hired? why do no youtube devs talk about the productivity of their real work? just magically when you pass the python leetcode question its just happy sipping coffee? was your work worth more or less than the 100k their paying? because all the ex fang leetcode youtube coaches i see are literally making garbage entry level react websites for their courses
I think this was for a new grad role, so the assumption there might be that no experience was expected; it could be that at that point, they were hiring for the prospect of future talent since there's no "actual" experience here. It is hard to know the hiring criteria for the companies.
Ellis is, in my opinion, one of the greatest developers I've ever met. What are your thoughts on our conversation? 😊
In one word "Insightful"
This boy is.... different !! Great future in perspective :) . Thanks to you 2 for this masterclass 🙂🙂

Thanks a lot man! Really enjoyed recording this!
This guy explained everything in a really clear manner, and really boosted my confidence for my upcoming interviews.
I'm glad this helps in a good way! All the best in your upcoming interviews
This is one of the most insightful interviews for any student or even anyone aspiring to land a job in the tech industry. Really Nice interview 👍
Awesome! Happy you found this insightful. I used the lessons here to land my job at Meta, so I think it was definitely a great interview!
You are doing geat. Need more of this!
Thanks a lot for your support, man!
Great interview, just that Ellis' mic input wasn't setup properly. But overall great interview 😄
