This SuperBowl it did for sure, but last year San Francisco’s defense was just as good as this Tampa defense but the Chiefs offense exploded and put up 21 points in 6 minutes and won the game. Chiefs definitely got outplayed and outcoached by the Bucs but they were without their entire starting offensive line and Mahomes had a bad toe that is getting surgery this week so he wasnt 100 percent. Not making excuses and not saying if chiefs had their O line they would of won but ut definitely would of been a closer game. Mahomes scrambled for 497 yards behind the line of scrimmage which was most all year and was pressured on 54 percent of his dropbacks which was most in SB history so the bad O line really ruined the game.
@@nopeteys2424 That was likely the least pedigreed and worst-performing O-line in the history of the SB. Chiefs should have called a TO or forfeit or something the instant Fisher went down. Lucky Mahomes survived the day. Probably the best outcome one could realistically expect.
When the chief offenses tackle got hurt it doomed their super bowl chances
We shouldn't forget their are reasons why Andy Reid isn't the Eagles coach just because he now has Mahomes as QB and they won a Super Bowl last year.
You never assume a team is going to come back that big unless Tom Brady is the quarterback. And Tom Brady was on the other team.
That was a butt whupping from hell. Let's face it, he asked for it. He set himself up. If he was that smart he would have taken notes on the Patriots' 2001 and Giants' 2007 defenses beating great offenses. He would have learned to be humble and admit that "on any given Sunday" is not a joke or myth.

Tom Brady thrives on competition and proving pundits wrong. Tom's been doing it throughout his whole football career since his college days at Michigan. There is a reason why TB12 is the GOAT

It's was neither one of there fault....the left tackle got hurt in the playoffs......that's wat doomed the Chiefs....they simply couldn't protect Mahomes

@@sj4632 they lost the left tackle...move a guard to left tackle...then replace the guard with a non starter....so essentially they had 3 players out of position..... Nick said this on Monday.....they would have probably been better served to just replace the tackle with a backup....and give him help.....but I don't think that was EB'S decision to make
@@jamesjackson2117 Why wasn't anyone making a big deal out of these tackles before the Super Bowl? Everyone was predicting a Chiefs blowout win. I'm not buying it. Smart coaches can work around a tackle or two missing. Chiefs were exposed.
@@sj4632 I agree I'm just stating the fact .....the Chiefs thought it wouldn't matter either apparently....but you can see it was the difference in the game Mahomes was pressured all game ...a direct reflection that something was going on with the O line..... Shannon Sharpe talked all week about it....but the Bucs still had to get the job done and they did.....I'm not debating with you I'm just giving you a different angle to look at....go look at undisputed from a week ago
