Nick is an awesome analyst but it’s so funny to me how he’s just so convinced everyone is out to get his favorite teams and players. Mahomes didn’t win MVP from 2019-2021 because he didn’t deserve to, other players had better individual seasons in each of those years.
Chiefs fan here, but yes. Rodgers absolutely deserved MVP in 2020. He was 10 touchdowns clear, had a much higher passer rating, higher completion %, and yards per attempt. He also had the #1 seed in the NFC. Mahomes would not have caught up to him even if he played in week 17. Nick is a clown.
Idk how Mahomes is underrated. The mvp is voted by 50 broadcaster/sportswriter so if he doesn’t get it they’re the ones underrating him but he’s force fed to fans as the greatest qb ever.
Also mahomes has the perfect spot he dropped into in KC. Great seasoned ownership, already a winning culture there, great coaching staff and GM org. So of course the GM knows that tyreek was great but he would have been a poor value relative to price they would have to pay long term. Next trick is replacing kelce who is quite special as well.
@@xcwilliams7980 like any all pro that is scheme over-utilized, you have to have a succession plan for his role when his WRs have yet to fully come on line in their offense. Kelce is at top of game but the falloff will come and when you pay mahomes 20% of cap , you better have a clear go to guy for him to stay competitive.
Nick Wright is one of the best up and coming sports reporters. I believe that he's very intelligent and has a great sense of humor. He covers all the sports, including soccer golf, which is rare for a lot of these young guys. I fully agree with Nick Wright on Lebron "GOAT" James and Patrick Mahomes. One of DPs best guests.
Love you Nick, always great with DP, about the russ wilson saga, saw him in 3 games, every time the off. line was not there, he never had time to throw, It's the worst off. line in the NFL PERIOD!!!
Yeah, Bill are the real deal - Nick exaggerates every loss to have a take that stands out. There are a lot of games left and nothing is locked up in the AFC. Hope the Chiefs can get a dub against the Bengals - that would help a bit.
I’m one of those enjoying watching Russel Wilson’s struggles… but Nick Wright couldn’t be more wrong. If he would have yelled back, “The Broncos are coming apart at the seams. RW screaming in shouting match with teammates” would be the headline.
Right, instead he looked like a puppy that just got kicked into a wall, which is objectively worse I can’t exactly say, but his downfall is glorious to watch as we all know his overly positive nonsense is just a facade
What will Nick say when the Chiefs lose in the playoffs again this year. ? "Patrick Mahomes did nothing wrong. Worst call ever, the other team cheated, there needs to be an investigation !"
Somebody needs to tell Nick and delusional Patriots fans that the only reason Mac Jones went to the pro bowl was because basically half of the AFC QBs, including Josh Allen, declined their invitation
Russ and his wife tried to be bigger then just an athlete. His ideas of taking stances while is good took away from his passion for being the best at his job
The MVP award isn't what it's supposed to be. Most VALUABLE player, so the player whose team would suffer most without them there. In the MLB AL, Aaron Judge? Really? Shohei Ohtani did the work of two players and he doesn't win the award? The world is off its rocker. NFL, yes, it's Mahomes, because a lot of teams would beat the piss out of the Chiefs without him.
Lol no they wouldn't. They were winning divisions without him then and they would now too. Mahomes is very talented. But is carried by a very talented team. Put mahomes in Buffalo and watch him struggle worse than allen
I love Nick but he’s like the guy on social media who gets 10 thousand positive comments and then responds to the one negative one. Mossssst people with half a brain think, thought and agree with most things he says. He just chooses the analysts that say stupid things and then says “everyone” was saying.
Not only is Wilson a fake, but what really drives people crazy, I think, is that he shows zero self-awareness, much like the way Robert Griffin the third carried himself when he was playing. His behavior completely alienated him from teammates. When you combine this with Russell's narcissistic behavior and chasing any camera nearby, it's just too much to take. Now that the veil has been lifted, what we see with Wilson is what I would describe as the Tiger Woods effect. Everyone always knew he was a jerk to his fellow players and was socially awkward and clumsy, but no one would criticize until one day he had a fall from grace. Wilson's Fall From Grace was when he went to Denver and people saw that once again he could not carry the team, after claiming to Denver fans that he was going to bring them four or five more Super Bowls and doing all his videos and media stunts, while Landing a gigantic contract, which included a personal office, a suite at the stadium and given permission for his posse to travel with him and the team. The only way you can get away with all of that is if you are a world beater, then people will look the other way. So I think in a lot of ways part of the problem with Wilson's play is the same thing we saw with Tiger Woods once he was finally exposed, which is that he could not psychologically and emotionally deal with the public pressure of being outed for the person that he really was.
Nick is way too cocky about the Chiefs. They’re not that good and I bet the Bengals crush them Sunday. Dude needs to wake up and see how dominant the Bills really are and don’t forget about the Bengals, Dolphins, and the Eagles. All better teams!
Hey nick didn't mahomes get to sit for a whole year too. Hmmmmm.... Did josh??? What kind of team did mahomes start put with a contender or a pretender? Hmmmmm.... what did josh have Kelvin B and robert foster lmfao.... Your comparison with the 2 don't work josh had it way harder then Kermit the frog... And you'll see what's up bro...
Dan and Nick are one of my happy places!!
These two are gold together. Seems like Nick Wright elevates everybody around him
Most Valuable Guest incoming. Love these interviews every time
He used to work down here in Houston. 610 Radio. I often see him in the building. He’s very good guy.

Nick is a clown.
Nick Wright is on more shows these days than Pat Mcafee.
Because Pat doesn’t have to be… he is on College Gameday
This is brilliant! 👏🏾
Love Nick and Reggie interviews.....Where has Reggie been?
Good question. This has been going on for 3 straight years. Reggie would always be on at the beginning of the season!
@@teddylovesit the NBA is as talented and interesting as ever 1/4 way into a season.
Someone did say “that dudes the best” at the end last time
Not underrated, underappreciated.
TH-cam video cuts right as he leaves so there is no audio evidence of a compliment this time 😂

Ivan Lendl in tennis was like that. Where they are taken for granted or not shown enough respect. Like Mahomes!
Love you Nick, always great with DP, about the russ wilson saga, saw him in 3 games, every time the off. line was not there, he never had time to throw, It's the worst off. line in the NFL PERIOD!!!
I always talked shit about Russ but I feel bad for him now 😂 yeah that Oline does nothing for him
Bills 9-3. One of those wins was at KC this year. Good luck with Cincy, Nick.
Yeah, Bill are the real deal - Nick exaggerates every loss to have a take that stands out. There are a lot of games left and nothing is locked up in the AFC.

Nick is my favorite Woke Liberal!
Nahhh Nick Wright STAY in his feelings about not getting invited somewhere 😂😂🙄
I Dead Ass Luv his work tho! Much Respect ✊🏾

Nick forgets that Rodgers went off for 48td-5int and a 121.5 rating in 2020. Yeah, Mahommes' 38-6 and 108.2 got overlooked.
What will Nick say when the Chiefs lose in the playoffs again this year. ?
"Patrick Mahomes did nothing wrong. Worst call ever, the other team cheated, there needs to be an investigation !"
Just remember that this guy also thought Baker Mayfield was a better quarterback than Josh Allen.
Nick wrong
Somebody needs to tell Nick and delusional Patriots fans that the only reason Mac Jones went to the pro bowl was because basically half of the AFC QBs, including Josh Allen, declined their invitation
16:53 Wow! Even Nick calls out Danny and Fritzy about not having Reggie Miller at this time by now for 3 straight years! 😂
Russ and his wife tried to be bigger then just an athlete. His ideas of taking stances while is good took away from his passion for being the best at his job
Russ jumped the shark.
Nick Wright rustles so many people’s jimjams. Keep up the good work!

They should call Michael Jordan effect
Mahomes is taken for granted a little but 2020 should’ve been unanimously Rodgers’
13 weeks in Bills are the #1 seed... Funny

Glad someone else hates the QB1 phrase.
Nick Wright. Stephen A. Smith. Skip Bayless. Jock itch. Things you avoid.
Amen. The Celebritard Holy Trinity.
I fully agree with Stephen A and definitely Skip Bayless on that list but Nick Wright is still young, and intelligent. Give him some time.
Called the Bengals Frauds last year and they busted his team twice...

I think Nick Wright’s barber died of COVID
Go chiefs!!!!!
In what world is Mahomes underrated!? Get the hell out of here with that noise.
Last time I checked...The Bills beat the Chiefs this season!!!🤔
In Arrowhead!
Josh Allen: I'm going to Disneyla . . . uh, nevermind.

Does Nick Wright ever dress his age?
When I want to hear someone who knows far less about sports than myself or anyone I know, I want to hear Nick wright.
Nick stares at himself in the tiny little window in the corner while he’s talking
Okay Brad
🤡
He's become super annoying. Every time he's on the show he whines.
Seriously literally every call in he has on here dudes complaining 😂
Nick is sporting a Man Bunn! So Woke!
What are you 80 years old? You sound like an old dude complaining about the damn hippies and their long hair in the 60s lol
Wilson will run for office after he retires. 💯
Nick Wright is a hack. Shocked he could pull away from Queen James' jock long enough to make an appearance anywhere.
Luka is his guy now. Catch up.
well joe burrow is better than allen
Nick Wrong.
Nick, the 2020 Mahomes MVP take.. just an idiotic lie and please stop with the bulljive. people look it up
I like NW, but his cockiness about the Chiefs is very annoying!
Andy Reid wildly overrated!
I don't understand why you like this clown Dan?
Nick Wright is the one of the worst talking heads in sports.
Why is Nick Wright sign made like the Fox News sign. Because he works for Fox??
Nick kind of embarrasses himself every time he comes on this show… unless this is the greatest inside joke ever
@@teddylovesit he’s one of the greatest sports analysts and tv personalities in the business and I watch him every day… does he care about that?
It’s mostly inside jokes
