Bought the six speed to swap into my automatic, which has full bolts on, including a J35A3 swapped into it. already have the transmission, wiring, and everything needed for the swap out, and every part has been cleaned up. Just gotta wait for the funds for the P2R headers to replace my welded on DC sports. Underrated cars.
    Not to mention, my girl also owns a CL-S 6 speed. So we have 3 CLs in the family, two that are 6 speeds. Plus a 3G TL as the daily. All out Acura J series family.

    Is the spring for the one with the spoiler different that the one without the spoiler?

    Hey Mr. Chan, I did a rear main seal replacement on my 03 CL-S 6MT and had a small leak still. Do I need to replace the rear main seal housing, the thrust washers, or need a new crankshaft? You guys rock!

    • @Camj27
      @Camj27 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You need to remove the rear main seal housing and replace the o ring underneath. Clean the housing and block and apply new Honda bond. The rear main seal itself rarely leaks on Acura. Usually the o ring underneath get brittle and leaks

      They used to be under 10k for a decently well kept one before the used car market got crazy. Now I can't even find one anymore. I almost pulled the trigger on one 4 years ago but a week after the owner re-listed it for $1500 because the idiot blew the manual transmission on it. It was the only manual 2003 CL I've seen listed close to my area since.
