Gotta admit i was way more afraid of the comments saying "youre not meant to beat him on your first run" because i managed to do every single mission except obviously slay them all, and beat bhunivelze on my blind run first try (admittedly, being lucky enough to perfect guard heartless angel twice carried my ass)
It was evil how you got a much worse version of Bhunivelze in NG+ if you unlocked Ultimate Lair. Aeronite was perfectly tuned, but the other endgame bosses were just hellish and unfun. Love this battle engine though.
DFFOO version of Bhunivelze fight is very restrictive and hard. Launch immunity, counter attack against physical (Melee and Ranged) attacks, high damage reduction, cannot be delayed, and cannot be broken.
Kefka is boosted and his HP Attack Disable + Blind Debuffs are valuable in that fight. The big problem is just finding a way to manage your resources effectively.
It's like the _music itself_ is bending, distorting and melting under the sheer might of Bhunivelze

its better if you dont stall like he did, this boss can be defeated in less than 2 minutes. it's supposed to be short

The first phase is supposed to be hard, not the 2nd one. Unless you're on hard mode and ng+, then it's hard.
