    I am a wheelchair user, so for me it is difficult to travel. By watching the videos of Prowalks, I feel as if I were walking, something I have not been able to do since I was 7. You cannot imagine what a wonderful sensation it gives me. I am extremely grateful to the people who have made Prowalks videos and similar ones. Besides, you choose charming picturesque places to show of this fascinating country I would like to visit. . Great!

    I must say I have rediscovered this video after first seeing it a couple years ago, when my wife and I started dreaming of a trip to Italy. At first we were going to spend a night here, then we decided not to. But watching this again, with the bustling shops and above those, the beauty of the coast and the sea shoulder to shoulder, I am going to spend a night here to see what the sunset and sunrise is like.

    • @ProWalks
      @ProWalks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ken, Yeah I stayed a night in Amalfi when my folks came to visit. It was pretty nice. Are you going to be renting a car? Naples, Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast would all make for a pretty nice vacation.

    • @kensellar
      @kensellar 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ProWalks thanks for the kind reply. I feel sometimes like we're pen pals, and it makes Italy a lot more real for me! It would be a real kick if we somehow could meet for a drink when we finally do get there! Renting a car? Well, when I'm on vacation, I like to let others do the driving! We will be based in Positano, but we plan a day trip via the ferry to Sorrento, a couple ferry day trips to Capri, and now I really want to do an overnight to Amalfi. I hesitate to consider any driving tour of the coast. I watch the traffic at a standstill in your Amalfi walking tour from 2018, and I think nope, that's not for me! At least there's no traffic jams on the ferry! Thanks for all the wonderful work you do. From the comments I know you read, you provide not just a scenic tour, but for many it is a trip back through their memories of a vacation there in the past, or a trip from the confines of a wheelchair, or simply it's there for people who will never be able to afford such a trip. You do so much more for people than you will ever know. I know it can't be easy at times spending time on these walks, and then the editing, away from your lovely family(which my wife pointed out on one of your intros- such a beautiful family!), but what you do is provide that window into a world of beauty, romance, and freedom. You make people happy, and that is a noble calling. Stay safe and healthy, and your family as well.

    This is one of the greatest travel videos I’ve ever seen! I love that there isn’t any nonstop babbling or crappy music so you get to hear the sounds of the village as they are. I feel like I’m actually there. I also love the continuous shots. I only wish you showed more of inside the doorways in the walkways or tunnels. Im still like a little boy and I love to explore and see everything. You gotta be seriously lucky to live there. I just need to win the lottery and I’ll be buying property there. Just a paradise! Incredible beauty, so much that it doesn’t matter where you look it’s stunning. Oh Mother Nature & humans have created a real paradise. It’s just a shame that these amazing villages are full of religion. It would be perfect if it wasn’t for the delusional beliefs. Still I’d put up with it to live there!

      Hey, thanks for watching! Yeah I sometimes wonder how many streets i should walk and how many shops to go in to. I want the tour to flow but I also want it to feel like you are the one walking and seeing what you want to see. Did you watch this while on a treadmill, tv, computer, tablet or phone? Just curious. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

      This is a remarkable video. I sincerely appreciate the author in presenting an unbiased view of Amalfi. I too would be exploring all the little alley ways. It's a beautiful area of the world but I should not like to live there. It's grotty and complex until you reach a summit or the coastline and even then I would feel trapped faced with either a view of the sea or a walk down a creepy claustrophobic alleyway to get home. I find the churches a peaceful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of numerous tourists that detracts from the experience of actually living there. And I now appreciate why the churches have retained their stronghold in certain areas. The architecture and engineering is beautiful and medieval so as you can actually imagine what it must have been like to live there many hundreds of years ago. Back then it would have been a sanctum of solace. It's scenery is diverse. A truly remarkable and unique place to visit. Great video.

      @Eagle Banality? He did not say that the world is ugly, he wrote that Italy is the best. This is not a banality, it is an opinion. Idiot (you deserve to be called idiot more than any other on this page and ironically you have been the first to insult someone, typical on TH-cam).

    You've brought back wonderful memories of my stay in Amalfi 21 years ago. The beauty of the place and its situation can literally stun you and leave you not quite believing your own senses. The friendliness and warmth that I encountered in Amalfi made it one of my most treasured Italian visits. Yes, the day after Judgement Day must feel like business as usual there. Grazie!

      Hey Graham, I'm glad you enjoyed it. 21 years goes by fast! :) My family and I were thinking of going to Amalfi today to check it out but new rules just went into effect today that make it almost not worth it. I have a newer Amalfi walk too by the way. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/EJ5Ju8-t3jk/w-d-xo.html Merry Christmas!

    Another magnificent video, you have made me desperate to visit the area! I just love these long uncut shots, it's just like you are there yourself.

      @ProWalks  6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Hey Michael, thanks for your continued support of my channel. So all of these places I've been to with my family and then I go back at some point and do walk after I know the layout. I haven't been to Capri yet at all so I think I'll wait for the busy season to quiet down a bit...and Italians take the month of August off..and then I'll head to Capri in September for a walk. I know there is a lot to see on Capri so I'll probably end up making a couple videos there.

    Amazing quality video again. I don't normally finish any those type of video either people talk too much, always film themselves or how amazing while they are eating their food. I am not interested in them I am interested in the scenic view and the history & fees etc.. Also you don't have the background loud music it just work so well for me. I cannot believe I actually sit here to watch your entire video no sound no music just the scenic and your word below for the history & introduction. You GOT it!!
