Imagine at the end of the series, a threat level God appears. All of humanity has been evacuated to a shelter as far away as possible. The heroes, finally realizing Saitama's strength leaves it to him. While Saitama is finally having a good fight, every hero is defending the shelter from an army. Everyone Saitama met along his journey is there too. Sonic, Garou and even the House of Evolution guy. And then at the finale when Saitama feels that he needs to go at full force and then he starts emitting energy so powerful that the villain's army just evaporates from Saitama's power and then at that moment this song begins to play as everyone watches at awe at the man who is just a hero for fun but has limitless power as he lunges at the villain in slow motion and then finally blasts him with One Punch and earns the respect of everyone and finally the title of "One Punch Man"...
Well technically Boros is a god level threat but isn’t considered one because of 3 reasons, 1: only saitama saw him so he couldn’t even be ranked by the hero association, 2: One states that he is dragon+ or on a higher level (which could mean God), presumably god level and is worded like this because he is dragon+ before he transforms into meteor burst Boros who is stated strong enough to kill a star (restricted before becoming a humanity threat), and last One wants to save it for later

We don’t actually know if he will step up to be a hero or if he will stick to doing other things in his life. The thing about Saitama is that he is the perfect hero. Because even though he said it himself that usually he shows up too late. He has one thing that many heroes don’t. This scene when Suiryu's attitude was all vanished and he could see his death was near and there was none to save him ,he screamed for help ,he wanted a hero.. a hero who will give him a ray of hope that he can be saved and that monster laughs at him saying nobody can hear you .. you are helpless now .... Suiryu was all broken and then Saitama comes to save him saying that he(Saitama) heard him(Suiryu) asking for help and then this music plays... Enough to give goosebumps 🔥
Out of all the variations of Seigi Shikkou i've heard (Seigi Shikkou, SSDNG, Sadness, Saitama's Ballad, I'm a Hero, One Day) this is by far one of the best, if not the best
It really shows how Saitama develops more with his character instead of getting stronger. It was funny how he started out as a hermit, and now he is making connections. The opposite of how a main character develops traditionally, but it works well.
Been battling depression for a few months now and this theme and Saitama's resolve give me strength. Hope that everyone finds the hero within themselves.

I made this comment elsewhere in this comment section, but I figure I might as well copy/edit/paste it here because it shows just how great this series and saitama are. Keep in mind I’m watching the anime in the dub so my conclusions may be different to yours. In regards to the “I don’t need the fame” quote, he was actually lying to himself. Both his rage at not being recognized and the mere fact he joined the hero agency denote that. This implies one thing: he wanted to be KNOWN as the “apathetic avenger” who’s too strong to have a real fight; effectively Superman. That’s to say, he wanted to be known for an explicit lack of inner strength; because he can never really die he can never take risks by challenging monsters. He wanted this to be his gimmick. But here comes the character development that gives me chills. After the deep sea king fight, when that annoying brat was talking down on the normies who were all dead or dying, he realized something: that brat’s mindset was his HIS mindset as well; what he wanted people to think about what strength meant. He and the child thought nothing of the sacrifices of the other heroes. At least, not until this point. After thinking it over, he realizes that although he has his great strength, he can never truly be courageous and so instead, he lies about his outer strength in order to emphasize, at least to himself, the others’ inner strength. Notice that, after this point, he begins to take hero work more seriously. In invading the alien ship, he isn’t apathetic about it. He doesn’t take the time to stare blankly at the henchmen, opting instead to kill them almost instantly and not let them throw him around like he did in the carnage kabuto fight. That’s all I’ve seen so far of the show, but this is literally the best character development I’ve ever seen in any story period.
Sue me but i love season 2 more than 1, it brings a far more heroic side from saitama, and it brings us an amazing character like garou, the storys far better, only things the first season had better was the animation and the comedy, thx for uploading! Wanted this track since forever
Luis Sanchez you right man this season has a lot of excitement, where you see saitama walking towards a monster slowly and this music starts playing. Though the comedy in the season is a bit dry, this season is not that bad.
@CollabX It's not just animation. Poor sound mixing and effects are also a factor, as well as... Bad flow of the story. Don't get me wrong, the story itself is far superior to the first season, but at the same time it feels rushed in every episode, like it's incomplete. If you'd read the manga or the webcomic, there's so much more to the Monster Association arc (that is not even finished here) and the filler episodes. So much more to the characters and the overall plot that it just falls short compared to both manga and season 1. The latter is complete, after watching it there's nothing more to add or missing. Heck, there was even filler not included in the manga. Second season on the other hand... Invasion of monsters doesn't feel like an invasion, there's no real threat, Deep Sea King in the first season felt much more intimidating and there was an actual sense of danger, than the so called "monster invasion" from S2. And let's not forget the ending, which could very well be another episode till the finale, which a lot of people waited for, not believing it has ended. Sure, S2 is great despite the hate it gets, but it is so rushed, it's just a shame that when you think about it, it could be great with the right story flow alone.
the truth is that a worthy opponent for saitama couldn't exist because you can be enough strong to destroy even the entire universe but you can't change yourself like saitama did, nobody can, except him that's why saitama can't be beated, that's saitama's true strength, the changing.

I imagine this part at 1:06 where *spoilers* Garou lost his will to live and his monster persona shatters because of Saitama giving him a reality check and also telling him that he's actually a sweet guy.
Garou knows what the title hero mean, hero isn't for popularity, hero is the one who saved lives not break them. Even if it's a monster. But as soon as the popular heroes appear, his classmates started to bully him just becuz he wants to be play a hero. Everyone treated garou like a trash becuz he was weak. That's why he's trying to show everyone there is no weak or strong. By calling himself a monster, he proved that the hero association was only killing monsters not saving. Garou's goal is to change the world where everyone can enjoy, no strong and weak.

People sleep on season 2 and say there's no action and that's where the series went down in ranking for most. I think for a character like Saitama, character development is really important even if he's a parody. And season 2 does it so well. For example, when King told that he took all the credit for his feats, he didn't even do a single trash talk and instead he became the closest to King

Sue me but i love season 2 more than 1, it brings a far more heroic side from saitama, and it brings us an amazing character like garou, the storys far better, only things the first season had better was the animation and the comedy, thx for uploading! Wanted this track since forever
Luis Sanchez you right man this season has a lot of excitement, where you see saitama walking towards a monster slowly and this music starts playing. Though the comedy in the season is a bit dry, this season is not that bad.
In my opinion the comedy was just as good with scenes with like the bananas and king

@CollabX It's not just animation. Poor sound mixing and effects are also a factor, as well as... Bad flow of the story.
Don't get me wrong, the story itself is far superior to the first season, but at the same time it feels rushed in every episode, like it's incomplete. If you'd read the manga or the webcomic, there's so much more to the Monster Association arc (that is not even finished here) and the filler episodes. So much more to the characters and the overall plot that it just falls short compared to both manga and season 1. The latter is complete, after watching it there's nothing more to add or missing. Heck, there was even filler not included in the manga.
Second season on the other hand... Invasion of monsters doesn't feel like an invasion, there's no real threat, Deep Sea King in the first season felt much more intimidating and there was an actual sense of danger, than the so called "monster invasion" from S2. And let's not forget the ending, which could very well be another episode till the finale, which a lot of people waited for, not believing it has ended.
Sure, S2 is great despite the hate it gets, but it is so rushed, it's just a shame that when you think about it, it could be great with the right story flow alone.

the truth is that a worthy opponent for saitama couldn't exist because you can be enough strong to destroy even the entire universe but you can't change yourself like saitama did, nobody can, except him that's why saitama can't be beated, that's saitama's true strength, the changing.

Garou knows what the title hero mean, hero isn't for popularity, hero is the one who saved lives not break them. Even if it's a monster. But as soon as the popular heroes appear, his classmates started to bully him just becuz he wants to be play a hero. Everyone treated garou like a trash becuz he was weak. That's why he's trying to show everyone there is no weak or strong. By calling himself a monster, he proved that the hero association was only killing monsters not saving. Garou's goal is to change the world where everyone can enjoy, no strong and weak.

Society wouldn't allow him to be a hero because Garou decided to become a monster because his role is simple. To defeat heroes and that's just it.

I think for a character like Saitama, character development is really important even if he's a parody. And season 2 does it so well. For example, when King told that he took all the credit for his feats, he didn't even do a single trash talk and instead he became the closest to King
