BISON Burgers over Open Fire and Convection Oven Cookies in the Camper!

We finally use our Forest River High Pointe Convection oven in our NoBo 20.3 for the first time to bake cookies. We also enjoyed some cool weather and had another delicious campfire dinner!

re: Bison, I recommend trying out Bison Tartare if you haven't yet. Give it a go at a good/reputable French restaurant - IMO its amazing.

Bison in very lean though, You would need to add a fat to it for proper digestion, or risk an insulin spike. Let me know if I am wrong.

It does seem lean-you can tell when cooking as it doesn’t quite hold together like beef. Using butter in the cast iron might have helped but didn’t experience any digestion issues lol. Couldn’t tell you if there was an insulin spike either-felt great after. They were delicious! I don’t know that one burger is going to cause any issues.
