I took the hotel and walled it off into a fortress. It has a full kitchen, and clearing the tables out of the dining room makes space for storage and a bed. Roof access above the kitchen allows you to hook up the sinks to water barrels. Grass right outside the kitchen to garden in, and a giant forest across the street for lumber. A gas station next door.
I Can't believe you forgot north farm. Choosing a base based on one time loot seems odd tbh. I think highway accessibility is far more important, which for example the gated community is completely lacking. Gotta drive through all of muldraugh to get out of the town, which is why I always base in the Saloon now. Another great base for MP is the Knox Bank. Has high walls restricting zombie movement on two sides, has a water cooler to carry you for a while, has a second floor and only two entrances and *no one* ever checks out a building like a bank for loot. You can hide your cars behind the bank (there are no windows at all to reveal them on a passing glance) and you have direct access to both the highway to rosewood and to WP
I am running two different runs right now and I have one base at bens fishing cabin, and then my other game is out at the farm smack dab In the Middle of the map.
I don't get why you say 'oh this warehouse is great, it's got lots of room for storage'. I've literally never run out of storage in PZ. Even in a standard suburban house you could build and place hundreds of crates.
@@channelname9256 I usually just live in big warehouses with lots of open space and i usually outsource lot of the furniture and i tend to just make little dedicated corners for certain things like a armory, kitchen and all that sorta stuff all in one big room.
some people are complete loot goblins on multiplayer, doing their round every respawn cycle. When they finally quit the server and their safehouse unlocks you find stuff like an *entire* crate 60/60 filled with one ammo type.

Great video. Very creative ideas!
Thank you the ideas but why you play strecthed res?
The house with the wall around it to the East is a pretty good base. There are two other two story houses near it that aren’t bad either.

Best bases are gas stations

sure you can,but you get all this storage for free and without investing any time into building yourself a storage room of some sorts.
Personally I like to have multiple rooms for storage for more organization. So I'll have a library, armory, food store, medical cabnet etc.
