In this post we are going to see the history of Devi Siddhidatri.
Devi Siddhi Datri….. The eighth form of Goddess Durga is called Siddhi Dadri. She is called Ambigai on the eighth day of Navratri.
Ayuda Puja known as Maha Navami is celebrated on the last day of Navratri festival. This day belongs to Goddess Saraswati, the ruler of arts and education. Similarly, Goddess Durga is worshiped on this day in the form of Siddhidatri in Navadurga worship. Siddhi means power and Dadri means giver. Siddhidatri means the giver of all siddhis to the devotee. According to the Markandeya Purana, she bestows the devotee with eight types of siddhis, viz.
Siddhidatri is dressed in red and is seated on a lotus flower. She has four arms. She holds Katha and Chakra in her left hands. She holds a lotus flower and a conch in her right hands.This goddess has a lion as her vehicle.
On the ninth day of Navratri, this goddess can be worshiped with Sambangi flowers.
Devi Purana says that Lord Shiva worshiped her and got all the siddhis and became Ardhanareeswarar. She is half of Lord Shiva.
The union of Shakti with Shiva is the state of perfection. The last day of Navratri is considered the auspicious day to worship Lord Ardhanareeswarar. Her grace bestows all siddhis on yogis. If you worship her, you will get rid of fear in your mind. She makes us realize the philosophy that everything originates from the Great Power. Those who worship her attain bliss.
Her grace will show us the path of Moksha.
Goddess Siddidatri is worshiped by all the gods, humans, sages, Yatchas, Kingaras.
இந்த பதிவில் தேவி சித்தி தாத்ரியின் வரலாற்றை நாம் காணவிருக்கிறோம்.
தேவி சித்தி தாத்ரி..... துர்க்காதேவியின் ஒன்பது வடிவங்களில் எட்டாவது வடிவம் சித்தி தாத்ரி'யை என்று அழைக்கபடுகிறாள். இவள் நவராத்திரியின் எட்டாம் நாளுக்குறிய அம்பிகையாவாள்.
நவராத்திரி விழாவின் இறுதி நாளில் மகா நவமி என்னும் ஆயுத பூஜை கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இந்நாள் கலைகளுக்கும், கல்விக்கு அதிபதியான சரஸ்வதியின் தேவிக்குரியது. அதேபோல நவதுர்க்கை வழிபாட்டில் இந்நாளில் துர்கா தேவி சித்திதாத்ரி என்ற வடிவில் வழிபடப்படுகிறாள்.
சித்தி என்றால் சக்தி என்றும் தாத்ரி என்றால் தருபவள் என்றும் பொருள். சித்திதாத்ரி என்றால் பக்தருக்கு அனைத்து சித்திகளையும் தருபவள் என்று பொருள். மார்கண்டேய புராணத்தின்படி எட்டு விதமான சித்திகள் -அணிமா, மகிமா, கரிமா, லஹிமா, ப்ராப்தி, பிரகாமியம், வாசித்வம், ஈசத்வம் எனப்படும் எட்டு விதமான சித்திகளையும் பக்தருக்கு வழங்க்கூடியவளாக இவள் திகழ்கிறாள்.
சித்திதாத்ரி செந்நிற ஆடையை அணிந்தவாறு தாமரை மலரில் அமர்ந்து இருப்பவள். இவள் நான்கு திருக்கரங்களவ கொண்டவள். இவளது இடது கரங்களில் கதையையும், சக்ரத்தையும் கொண்டிருக்ககிறாள். வலது கரங்களில் தாமரை மலரையும், சங்கையும் ஏந்தியிருக்கிறாள். இந்த தேவி சிங்கத்தை வாகனமாக கொண்டவள்.
நவராத்திரியின் ஒன்பதவாது நாளில் இந்த தேவியை சம்பங்கி மலர்களை அர்சித்து வழிபடலாம்.
தேவி புராணம் சிவபெருமான் இவளை வழிபாடு செய்து அனைத்து சித்திகளையும் பெற்று 'அர்த்தநாரீஸ்வரர்' ஆனார் என கூறுகிறது. சிவபெருமானின் ஒருபாதியாக இவள் விளங்குகிறாள்.
சக்தி, சிவத்துடன் இணைந்து இருப்பது தானே முழுமையான நிலை. அந்த முழுமை அடைந்த நிலையாக இவள் காட்சி தருவதால் அர்த்தநாரீஸ்வர வழிபாட்டிற்கு ஏற்ற நாளாக நவராத்திரியின் இறுதி நாள் விளங்குகிறது.
இவளின் அருள் யோகிகளுக்கு அனைத்து சித்திகளையும் தரும்.
இவளை வழிபட்டால் மனதில் உள்ள ஐயம் நீங்கும். எல்லாமும் மகா சக்தியில் இருந்து தோன்றியதே என்ற தத்துவத்தை உணர வைப்பவள் இவள். இவளை வழிபடுவோர் பேரானந்தத்தை அடைவர். அவர்களுக்கு தேவை என்ற ஒன்று இல்லாதவாறு அம்பிகையின் கருணை மழையில் நனைவார்கள்.
இவளது அருள் மோட்சத்தின் பாதையை நமக்கு காட்டும்.
சித்திதாத்ரி தேவி தேவர்கள், மனிதர்கள், முனிவர்கள், யட்சர்கள், கிங்கரர்கள் என அனைவருமே வழிபடுவர்.
