Crossing the oceans using the astronomical positions has become a rare phenomenon. There might be however, the mariners who would want to do an ocean crossing using the solar / stellar sights, right through. The enjoyment, when the accuracy of a sight is revealed cannot be described. The young mariners must not lose this opportunity. Capt. S.S. Chaudhari, who is probably the sole lecturer of Astronomy for extramasters, intends doing this series of videos to share his knowledge and motivate the young marines.
