As a van dweller water is precious. I got the pressure jug 20 years ago, it's a peice of junk! The salad spinner on the other hand is a keeper. You need a couple 5 gallon buckets. First separate your laundry, just like great grandmother did lightly soiled whites in hot soapy water, agitate to get the load wet, let it soak, let soaking do most of the work, agitate some more, inspect the clothes, if you find spots rub them out with a bar of laundry soap ( Felt Nathan is a good one. ). Spin the wash water out in a bucket and save it for the next load. With the soapy water spun out rinse with cold water with dash of vinegar agitate and spin out your rinse water Saving it for the next load. Light colored clothing next following the same steps. Let the next batch soak while hanging out the first batch to dry. You can do a family laundry with very little water. The rinse water may need to be changed when it gets dirty. When you heat water on your stove and have to pack your own water, you wize up, like great grandma did!
Great review thx. I wear alot of sports jerseys and air dry them to keep them new looking. These products are great for washing a few at a time like I usually do on the delicate cycle.
Oh I like!! Great review! Those would be amazing for me as a vandweller and they don't look like they'd take much room. I'm always wishing I could wash a couple items without having to wait to have a full load of clothes. This is actually pretty perfect for minimalist minded people who don't have or want a huge wardrobe (like me!). Or someone living in a van who has a cat 🙀 that barfs on your blankets and rugs at the most inopportune times. (Again, like me lol)
I bought a similar model in the UK made of metal and the pressure, ( like a pressure cooker) helps clean the clothes too. I used it to wash sheets, clothes, towels, curtains, jeans, etc. I used it in the bath and on the draining board in the kitchen. It speeds up laundry chores, so in the summer you can get through a lot of laundry in a day. This model looks superior to the one I used. Amazon should be selling it here in the UK for goodness sake!... ????
I seriously need one of those Ecospin machines...I can wash out stuff in my apartment sink if I have to, but they take forever to drip out even with hand wringing!
Mike! This is a fabulous product review! I will be looking at these closer on Amazon and if I decide to order it will be through your link. Hope you do more product reviews as they are very helpful. Thanks so much! RV Ronnie from middle Tennessee...:-)
Thanks for reviewing both of the items. I was twixt and tween between the two of them. A phrase from Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit. I decided to go with EcoSpin. Divorced former Sea Duty Marine living in a divorced guy small apartment for the present. Thank you, for your Navy service and for doing this upload review.
Thank you for this, I've seen the portable laundry machines but wasn't sure if they were something we should invest in. So far, we've been saving up our dirties or hand washing them with our bio soap body wash lol! I hope you didn't get in trouble for adding that pair of socks hahaha :-)
Excellent review RandomBits :) Hope you get a change to do more reviews in the future because we are always looking for new ways to make RV chores easier. Safe travels!
What a great life. I'm a little jealous. It was a gorgeous day in the Bronx today and, I didn't want to come back inside to my apartment it was so beautiful out. Having an RV, you NEVER have to go inside (except to sleep, cook and poop :). Nice! And, thanks for the demo. I'll be getting my EcoSpin in a few days. Can't wait to wash clothes now. (What? Did I say that?) heh. Anyhow, all the best to you and your wife. Lovely picture of you both.
Annettesmusic - Thank you Annette. I’m truly blessed. I do love trying new products and giving honest reviews. Best of luck, and enjoy the nice weather.
Thanks mike! Since we stay in desert much of the winter at gold camp. Not sure this would work for us. We would have to scrape the mud out of it after mining. But heck if ya ran out of underwear. Thanks
I had one of those up in Alaska. It was too messy for me. I bought the washer that is blue and has a washer and spinner. Plus it fits in my RV shower. How are you and dawn doing!
Willa Barnes if you watch the end of the video again, I mentioned 30% off on the EcoSpin and 10% off on the EcoWash. I never mentioned $30. I don’t set the prices or the discount. The manufacturer of the devices does. Thank you for watching.
Graciela Leon this was last year. And someone informed me that it was illegal. At the time I was unaware. But now I am informed. Thank you for watching.
@@RandomBitsRV Isn't Dawn soap what they use to wash oil off birds after oil spills? If it's ok for birds, it should be ok for desert dirt. Kinda crazy if it is illegal.
Thank you for the comment - Life in Serenity. I think that it could be useful while boondocking, especially to save water. It will hold and effectively wash 4.7 pounds of laundry. I'm not going to remove our double stack washer and dryer any time soon, but I think these have a place for serious boondockers.

Wow. Not a good invention at all IMO. So much time, effort and water to wash a few small things not to mention storing those contraptions. It would be much quicker and easier to wash and rinse items like that in the sink.

Nice product review! I was really impressed with how well the eco spin worked. Towels can really hold the water.

Pretty neat!! You may have to have a "laundry week" instead of a laundry day with that T-tiny thing 😂😂😂loved seeing your review good job!!

Great review Mike and I am glad the products were able to get Dawn's nasty socks clean .... lol. You should do more videos like this!
I agree...with the making more vids like this ....not the socks thing! LOL
thanks for the review... i'm ordering the eco spin today.

WOW...I think I'll get one for Katie for Christmas next year. It's time she hangs up that washboard! LOL Great video guys and it is a great product.
Did you get rid of your double stack? LOL!
OH, you caught me! LOL

I think cold water rinces much better. Also, hot water cooks the dirt into the fabric .
I orderedcit!! But I saw you can also wash with the eco spin, I'd use a plunger for washing its so quick and effective!! !! 😀
Thank you! I hope you enjoy using it!
Great review thank you 🙂
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks mike! Since we stay in desert much of the winter at gold camp. Not sure this would work for us. We would have to scrape the mud out of it after mining. But heck if ya ran out of underwear. Thanks
Wouldn’t it be better to use the eco spin prior to the rinse cycle
Good presentation
Thanks...Im gonna buy one

Hi! Can you tell me if the basket to the eco spin comes out so that it can be cleaned thoroughly once in awhile? Thank you! :)
Yes it does. I apologize for the delay. I didn't see your message.
You have suds because you’re supposed to rinse in cold water ; despite what is suggested. Cool review though!
amazing review love it
Wonder how it would do on towels
I think they both would do fine, as long as you dont overload. Good Luck!
How am I supposed to use tap water when I'm off grid in my van. I would only be able to to use gallon water room temperature. Why can't I? Thank you
I did not design it. I just showed you how to use it. Or not. Your call. Thanks for watching.
For less than a $50 investment this is a no brainer. Get off the grid and cut down on electricity.
Echo wash or Eco wash🤔
EcoWash & EcoSpin
Its NOT a thirty dollars discount. The price is about the same on Walmart and Amazon website as well as this so called discount price.

I enjoyed your video !! I can wait to receive my Eco Spin :) I do a lot hand washing and this will help.
Hot water fades darks and sure doesn’t wash soap out!
I don't think is proper to let the soapy water in the dessert.Try at least with a eco soap
