I just lost my dad recently & I’ve been trying to explain the loss of a parent to my partner. I’ve never heard a more apt description than “the world is off its axis & it never rights itself. But you just adapt…” I am a longtime fan of his. He just come across as a genuine nice human being. I’d love to just sit and chat with him. I wouldn’t even care if I could never tell someone. He just strikes me as someone your better off for knowing.
That's exactly it! I lost both my parents recently and trying to explain it to my husband, the best way I could put it was, "the earth now has a crack in it.". I just read to him what Paul Rudd said, so maybe he can understand at least a little...
Losing your parents is horrible and the worst thing is no one can truly understand just how soul destroying it is until they experience it for themselves. If your parents are still with you treasure it, every second.

Paul Rudd is the guy you'd want living in your neighborhood. He's a family man, seems very real and approachable, would love to throw the BEST neighborhood block party and I would not worry about my kids being friends with his kids. My goal would be to have a firepit night with him and his wife, and just listen to his stories and jokes.
As someone who lost both parents this hits home for me.
I lost my Dad to Covid. It was May of 2020. What Paul Rudd says is spot on.

It’s kind of annoying that neither of these ladies haven’t seen a single marvel movie with these dumb questions. Nothing against people who don’t watch anything marvel but these questions and clueless behavior they give off is annoying.
