And as usual on the internet, people knows more than the practitioner and master of the art... /facepalm.
I was fortunate to train with Boungnaphonh Makthepharaks (Kru Mark) for a few years, and learned Muay Thai and some Muay Boran.
No you didn’t
nice video , love it man all the way from the U.K ☺
Deadly Deadly Deadly! Very lethal strikes that will destroy your opponent in seconds. If you follow these particular elbow strikes up close no matter what your opponent is doing, it will break him very quickly! Learn these strike attacks like your life depended on it, it will save you!

Nd be in jail for rest of life

Calm down there bud no more lethal than a punch just because it cuts you doesn't mean it's more lethal.. powerful yes especially the side and downward elbow and the spinning one if you are lucky or skilled enough to pull it off imo a spinning back or hammer first generates significantly more force with more range and less skill involved 👌
Yes there is, the way I was taught, and Im no Kru, is to step your right foot (orthodox stance) to the outside of their right foot then throw spining back fist. It provides slightly more balance.
Eu sou de Goiânia-Go Brasil...fiquei virei fã de vocês...
It is a naturally awkward movement. You're not super likely to ever see to see it used practically. But if it's in Muay Thai, or Muay Boran, it's there for a reason.
These elbows are used alot in mma even as setups as well look up Gaston bolanos he has multiple kos from this spinning elbow one in mma that is brutal he's a master at it and people get kod from elbows all the time you can generate alot of force with them if you make your way into range.
It's literally used by every muy Thai kickboxer in their fights 🤦
The Elbow is probably the most underrated weapon on the body!
Excellent, great martial art
Gonna ask my instructor to do this! 😍
Are there any GOOD Training dvds being sold on this style
I'm really interested
Fair enough, I know spinning techniques carry a great deal of momentum which can be difficult to control at high speeds!
Definitely. That's why a lot of dancers (Mainly breakdancers) have a fighting background especially in kickboxing/muay thai/taekwondo
Using spinning techniques are a breeze to them
very excellent
great
Elbows end fights. 💯
Nice
cool!
Damn, this is deadly
Yes, it's in there twice, and I guess he didn't want to go too fast and accidentally hit her in the face. Only taped this once :)
+renzokata yeah there is the best way is if you are throwing a right spinning elbow put your left foot to the side of theirs (orthodox stance) and make a full spin with elbow I prefer this because the one he should is very slow and by the time you hit them they will have hitter with their own elbow
I also love this elbow strike, it is a good way to end a street fight quickly.
A really surprising move, and really painfull, but hard to do. Needs lots of training.
@@nukmuaynuksoo3955 or to get slammed on your head I wouldn't recommend the spinning elbow in that kind of situation at all unless you know exactly how to place it and set it up when grapplings allowed it's like giving up your back as the end of the motion puts you in an awkward fairly unstable position

Elbow strikes r very Lethal...
ผู้หญิงสวยอ่ะ น่ารักจริงๆ
Is there a way to make that turning elbow strike more mobile? is there a way to throw it while stepping forward?
The left foot was rotated at once
It's more a brutal counter than an actively offensive move but you can throw it off your hook just throw the hook away miss on purpose step your left foot past theirs bait the reaction turn as the come in spinning elbow hopefully to the jaw
Hello, i have a question. The Teatcher says five words before he starts the exercises. I understand the so - "rier"
- "panpan"
- "sukotap"
- "???"
- "zu"
What does he mean? Thank you for your help :-)
He said
เตรียม "triam" which mean "make ready"
ปั้นหมัด "pann madd" which mean " make a fist"
สะกดทัพ "sagod thap" which mean "Face the enemy"

@@anawathdg6925 What is that called the ritual beginning?
@@hansimgluck6548 That's not a ritual
They starting by declaring they are about to demonstrate Elbow techniques(which were 5 of them) then they are perform how to prepare a firm fighting stance.
@@anawathdg6925 okay, thanks for the answer. I thought that the start with putting your fist together and moving them to your head to get ready is some kind of ritual because we did that also in our gym once
@@hansimgluck6548 I think you are referring to "Wai Kru"(paying respect to the teacher) but it doesn't putting your fist together but to to put your palms together with all your finger pointing upward.
Wai Kru are usually perform only when you pledge yourself to the gym or sect as a gesture that you will respect the rules and every teaching, another occasion is when you entering to ring for the reason to stretch your muscles and to remind you of your training.

👌
Can anyone tell me what he is saying right before he goes into his fighting stance? That would be great. Thanks
I honestly don't know either but the movements paint a pretty good picture of what he's saying.
They should have subtitles

He predicted Trump was going to win in 2016 and in 2020. Said many liberal tears would be shed over the years.
He said what Ludacris old song southern hospitality say "we drop bows on em we drop bows on em throw dem bows" 💪🏾

getsugaahh Its probably because you have a lot to learn 9 months isn't much
And sorry that this is a bit late
That spinning elbow looks very unbalanced, am I missing something, or is it just because its done slow?
its not you step your lead over your rear leg shoulder width apart so you still have a square evenly balanced stance

In fact 9 useful ellbow strikes exist. Per arm.
After 9 months of doing Muay Thai, the only elbow technique that my Ajarn taught was the one in 0:26, and 0:49. Why is that so??
Muay boran teaches you all
