Switch Stance Backside Tailslide12, you couldn't be more on point. When I play S-K-A-T-E, I don't bother with the technicalities of names. When I pop out a nollie backside flip, I simply say, "Jim Greco." The younger generations scratch their heads wondering why. If you look at the crack on the sidewalk, he goes perfectly parallel with it as he rolls out.

Sure subsequent parts have him doing even more tricks and spots just as big..... but he wasnt as nodding as hard as he was when he filmed this part. This was a pile part, he was probably still high off the smack and charlie when those tricks were filmed. Thats why its a classic.

So Jim was skating this trash can on flat, far away from everything that was going on but there was a big crowd.... he was trying to FS ollie it.. & I started skating w/ him.. he was kind of a dick actually! And I though he’d be a decent dude.. I loved his skating. Guess he was having a shitty day.. regardless- he was a PRICK for no reason & treated me like a lil’ kid! I wasn’t kicking him or anything. Just hi 👋🏼 shake.. & he blew me off! So I shut that session down! switch Ollied it, then kick-flipped it.. he just walked away even more pissed 😜
