First win was seeing a backpack and not a rolling hard case. 😂 So many minimalist videos show huge rolling bags. In this time, it's just not worth it, especially at peak travel times!

Oh she has a suitcase, too. I don't like to check bags anymore. Hate waiting for it for half an hour. Lol. Especially risky at high peak times like Christmas, with lost/ delayed luggage during current polar vortex in North America.

I normally always do a backpack for carry on! As I mention in this video this was for a 6 week international trip so I needed the suitcase too (it's also included in the price for the long haul flight), but if I travel more locally I only use the carry on backpack. Not checking a bag is definitely way easier!

@Simple Essentials Yeah I forgot length of your trip, so I understand suitcase. 🙂 I get a little better each trip at not taking too much, but I wish I had different sized binder clips with me last time for keeping curtains shut at motel! Ha ha. I used my plastic water bottle clip for bags, and forgot it there. At least with binder clips, it doesn't bother you so much if you forget them. Lol. Different sized Ziploc bags are useful, too. 😬

Glad you enjoy the videos! The handbag is from a second hand shop and does not have a label in it unfortunately. Hope you can find a similar one near you :-)
