@@BruiseLeeReact no problem, as an martial art enthusiast I found this video so entertain for me (you know, breakdown every move with so much detail not just shouting or cheering) Good work dude!
In this scene, the small guy Mad Dog, is MAD abt fighting. Literally he loves fighting so much, looking for strong opponents. That's why he let both of them fight him.
mad dog is silat instructor, once hold a seat as head of indonesia silat associaton and at one point trained the indonesia secret service. that dude is legit af.
Yayan, the smaller guy fighting the other two, is a venerated Sylat teacher for many many years, as well as other martial arts, and is himself a trainer/ref for cylat, so it's funny to hear you mention what you'd tell him if you were in his corner. I believe Iko was an olympic level sylat practitioner as well. They're really good.
Absolutely agree man! I think a lot of times people believe it's one or the other.. but you can meld the two and Raid really proved that!! Thanks so much for tuning in, hope to see you at the next one!
I mean, of course Andi is going to be sloppier: Mad Dog just got done working him over in a torture scene where he used him as a punching bag, plus he is not as constant as his policeman brother in keeping up his brawling skills. He's by far the one who's suffered the most bruising by that point.
Just saying, the reason why they don't really do ground moves are because Silat, in its nature, is dirty fighting Yayan character (long hair guy) can pinch you, poke your eye, or stab your stomach with his fingers, it's to the death fighting, he'll do it, no doubt Feel free if you want to agree to disagree, I'm Indonesian, I'm listening
Yeah that's true! That's why I always break apart the score in terms of entertainment as well because at the end of the day.. that's what we're clicking for! If it was just a boring jab cross fight all day.. who's tuning in bro? Hahaha.
13:26 finally someone who understand the glass part! and im no pro but i do a bit of research, the purpose of the knee or thigh punch only works a bit if you hit right through the bone to make your opponent lost their balance for a bit. but yeah too tricky to pull
Would like to see you critique Sonny Chiba! A one of a kind master who seems to alway get left off best of lists. He had a unique and violent style and was trained by karate master Mas Oyama.
Let's do it man! I love getting to see underrated athletes, or just see new athletes I haven't been exposed to! I added to my docket a "best of sonny chiba" video but if there are any specific ones you can recommend lemme know! Definitely keep your eye out on the channel for my sonny chiba reaction if you aren't already subscribed! :)
It might be hard to find good clips on YT as most of his full movies are available here for free. Here's a fun clip though, th-cam.com/video/ssr_uAPmAE0/w-d-xo.html
But...for some really tasty fights to review look for clips from the TV show Banshee! Here are two for starters, th-cam.com/video/fno5aFcJQF0/w-d-xo.html
I think the way metagaming works, drunken kung fu could really give any art or person a run for your money! It's the nature of unorthodox striking and movement techniques!
Alternate title: Martial Arts Instructor Reacting to Martial Arts Instructor fighting another Martial Arts Instructor
Haha! That's essentially what happened! Thank you so much for tuning in :)

Mad Dog is also an instructor in Pencak Silat, Indonesian Martial Art.
That's Yayan Ruhian, the fight coordinator of the film. They are fighting in the style of Silat Pencak in these films.
That's awesome, thanks for the insight my friend and tuning in!! :)

Iko and Mad Dog were using Indonesian Martial Art, Pencak Silat. So does with the other guy.

I love their fighting style, i don't care what other people say. There's no 'if if if', just do it.
Also, remember, it's choreographed to look cool, and the choreographers are actually Iko and Yayan which is kinda cool.

The long hair guy is Pencat Silat Master Yayan Ruhian. He used to work with Indonesian army as an CQC instructor.
maddog aka longhaired guy is real threat, He even soloed Sub-zero(joe taslim) in previous fight
Did you already do the Kitchen Fight Scene from the Raid 2? That one probably has a lot of meat to it.
I have not yet but I can't wait to see it! I'm going to add it to the list.. I wonder if your "meat" comment was pun intended! Haha!
@@BruiseLeeReact I didn't even realize I did that!
He's a silat master and choreographer and teacher

Suka nih. Nambah ilmu ❤❤
"you can't catch kick(?)". Please dude, see and watch Pencak Silat fighting champion, and you will see more than one kick can catch in one round 🤣
they're used silat style, martial arts from nusantara like south asian country
So cool to appreciate that! I'm from Asia but mostly grew up in Canada. Thank you so much for tuning in, hope to see you at the next one!
