+hafid hadj Certainly, any time one works somewhere, he or she should be aware of the situation and respond appropriately. However, the specific model discussed in this chapter (by Hersey and Blanchard) is especially difficult to apply to cross-cultural or multi-cultural situations. Determining the developmental level of someone in another culture is very, very difficult, if not impossible, and perhaps not possible in one's home culture either. I would recommend an S2 style (high task, high relationship) whenever one is working with other cultures. As I mention in the video, this is one of my least preferred approaches to leadership.
Thanks, Mr@@DavidDunaetzI was not expecting that you are going to respond. I am a student in London I enjoy watching your video. as you said it is difficult to apply to cross-culture but that can or should happen if you do not research for that country culture. I did some research about Nigeria and I am from Algeria I found that civic Nigerian society is complex. However, the conflict in Nigeria produces culture diversity and kind of decision maker power. But, in the organisation, I recommend this is the appropriate approach that they can use.

I think it is a great leadership model, but as David Dunaetz points out, it has some goods things about it but also has things we need to be careful of.
Ii am enjoying the way these instructors are relating to us the meanings of situational leadership.
I like your way in explanation you make it easy and enjoyable to study thank you
This approach could
influence future project team leader behaviour? in Nigeria
Thank you. Now it is clear to me.
Great evaluation, thanks for sharing
is this approach suitable for Nigeria?
