My dad’s close friend suffered a stroke while on a trip to Europe. It cost over $100,000 for the care he received and to get get home. Always buy travel medical insurance when traveling out of the country.
I tested positive in August and we could not sail on Royal Caribbean. TC just needed a screenshot of my positive test result so I sent a copy to our TA who forwarded it. Easy. No problem re: refund
We had travel insurance thru AIG for a royal Caribbean cruise before covid. My son had to go to the shop doctor when his thumb got injured by a door closing on it - he had X-rays. It would have costed $3500 but it was fully covered by the (at the time)$70 policy
Great episode. One topic I wished was covered is what are our options if someone in our party tests positive for Covid at the port. We sail in less than 30 days. 🤞🏻 Thank you!
Would love to see an episode regarding best rooms. We had a stateroom at the very back of the ship and the balcony was HUGE. It was amazing how much additional space we had and rhe room was the same price as a normal stateroom. I can't imagine doing any other room
AS far as how do they verify that you have been exposed to COVID, I think they are taking things on a case by case basis. We were suppose to sail in Dec 21 for the Christmas Cruise and I misunderstood the definition of “fully vaccinated”. I didnt realize that you had to wait 2 weeks until after the last dose before you could sail. We were down in Orlando meeting up with my daughter when our vaccination date came up and my daughter made me call DVC (that’s how I booked my cruise) and they basically followed the same guidlines you mentioned. I didnt have to show anything. They just asked me the dates of our doses. It turned out we had 2 cabins and half of us were fully vaccinated but they let me rebook both cabins. So in September we are going on the Alaska Cruise. I was very happy with how DCL handled things.
Elaine ‘s hair and makeup are popping once again. Not that it matters at all, we are here for her knowledge. But also, Elaine is looking fierce!
Seriously tho!
I’m lost!! Where can I read, re-read and read these policies again!!!

I always love when Elaine is on the show! And big fat panda has been an absolutely delightful addition! The perfect guests!
Can't wait til my first Disney Cruise.
The expression on Pete's face when Elaine mentioned the $10,000 pricetag to get air-lifted off the ship was all of us.
Elaine you look fabulous!!!
I just received my gift bag in the mail for our cruise in March! It is wonderful! Dreams has been so great!!
Elaine is awesome

Great information especially from Elaine!
Very useful information. Thank you!
I recently booked my first Disney cruise though Dreams Unlimited for later this month.
Talk about burying the lead. Everyone should pay attention to the very last thing that Elaine says in this episode.

Booked with dreams and I'm kind of mad I didn't ask for Elaine. She seems awesome.
I just watched this in 2024😂
Yikes! Ten Grand for a helicopter rescue!
Has any of you cruised 🛳 Virgin voyages?
Travel Angels x x x
What happened to the bridge of Pete's nose? His eyes look puffy as well. Did he have a fall or walk into something?
I think it's just irritation from his last facial/botox appointment he had from the last cruise. It happens sometimes I guess.
Elaine looking prettier every time!
What happens if you have DCL insurance and you have to be air lifted, is that covered?
Elaine, please get your Thyroid checked asap. I’m noticing thyroid abnormalities on this video. You look beautiful and thank you for the info!
Very informative! Thank you.
