Rami Levy and Yesh Chesed use the exact same suppliers, yet Yesh Chesed is much cheaper. I don't know whether they have a website, likely not, so you'd have to go in person.
I personally make use of seamstresses to alter and repair clothing to make them last longer. I also use them for specialty items such as formal wear z their much cheaper and better (if you find a good one) then buying in a store.

We don’t have gym memberships, we walk a lot and do gardening. We don’t realky like to eat out anymore, prices have gone up way too much since Covid. I bought a few cookbooks and watch videos on cooking and make (almost) everything from scratch. That saves a ton of money. We make our table beautiful (silver from my grandma) put on our best dinner plates and crystal, flowers from the garden and hey presto, we’re in a restaurant! Shalom from the Netherlands!

Excellent video. No need to waste money. This is the right way to live. Maybe only th yoga is not a good idea due to what it originates from. These children are being taught excellent life skills and are not missing out on anything.

My kids all buy from second hand furniture and it's just fine. I wouldn't have known. I don't have A/C either.

Waiting for sales instead of buying something right away. I am not so great at shopping second hand but have learned the brands that I like and their sales schedules. If the item I like is gone by sale time, oh well lol. Also generic food for sure. Name brand food is so much more expensive in the US and sometimes the store brands are better quality in my opinion. Thanks for these tips, I need to start air drying my clothes…I live in Arizona so no excuse to use a dryer really. Biggest expense is AC…can’t get away from that one out here!! Have a blessed week ❤

A lot of American kollel families live much easier and with more luxuries than Israeli olim, like this family.
