Why would I take "advice" from people who can't even remember the names of major Canadian cities that are Disney ports?!? How does that pathetic deficit indicate "expertise"? That's just ignorant, smug illiteracy. Why on earth would I hand over my expensive, important vacation to people who are *THAT* ignorant - and that lazy? Why ask THEM for "advice"? I stopped watching "The Diz" years ago because I was so... *disgusted* by the "ignorant Floridian" focus/obsession. The *rest of the world* does NOT consider paddling offshore in shallow, polluted water around Florida on a 6,000+ passenger, plastic, diseased scow to be a "cruise". A *REAL* cruise involves TRAVEL - travel to different countries, cultures, different languages, and *learning*... not clinging to arrogant "'Merica"-centric illiteracy, laziness, delusions of superiority, and "low information" entitlement. The phrase "travelling all the way to Canada" (🤣) and the whining about flying (as if flying isn't a COMMON part of cruising for tens of millions) reveals a hilariously ignorant, slanted, and unconcious bias with "Disney vloggers". They are utterly ignorant about anything that isn't in their insular, ignorant neighborhood. Profiteering off of tourists but NEVER BOTHERING to experience what genuine tourists do - like something as fundamental and common as flying - results in useless "advisors". Advisors with zero real expertise, offering nothing useful, helpful or informed.

300$ per couple per 7 day cruise is norm. American guest do extra. Brits and Asia, pay short, do not pay, do not show on last day of a cruise. S8, xompanies do prepaid for non American guest. Salary for crew is rudimental. Thats why it is called tipping positions.

The tipping culture in America is mindboggling. Coming from Europe where tips aren’t the norm, it seems unfathomable that the employer doesn’t pay their staff a sufficient salary and the onus is on the customer. I’ve worked in plenty of customer service jobs and it was my job to provide excellent customer service, I didn’t expect extra from the customer for just doing my job.😂 Tipping in America is an anxiety inducing mind field!

Hilton recommends tipping $1-$5 per night for maid service in their hotels. Staterooms are much smaller but Disney automatically charges $18/night for a family of 4 for cleaning your room?!

I think everyone’s judging the price and missing the fact that it also includes the ability to go to Skywalker Ranch which isn’t open to the public. That’s worth it to me and I have no money. 😂

My wife and I are going on a Disney cruise this July. It will be our 3rd time and we love Alaska. We have thought about taking a cruise with a different company. Thank you for your opinion that DCL is the best option. The Jewel Garden was a memorable time for our family as well. We were fortunate to get a session with the owner. The keepsake ornament is a treasure that will last a lifetime. Enjoyed your show, but wish I had found it earlier.

Jackie is not crazy, I took a Disney cruise in 1990, it was my first cruise ever. Back then it wasn’t called DCL, I believe it was the Oceanic or something but it was Disney, Mickey and characters were on the boat just like they are now.
