In fact I've even heard so many millenials say that 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' was like an attempt to make a more 'current' version of DCH.

You know that fort in Goa (where they filmed the song) is sort of a youth hangout hotspot now. Also I used to howl with laughter at that Kristine looting Saif scene then....and I do now too.

So the story might not be exact but they will get to know from where the scenes are taken and collaborated together. That's the reason black didn't make it to top 100 at Oscars in foreign film category and neither did barfi The true stories like lagaan mother India etc were originals
