I was never a fan of Saif since 90's but when listen to his interviews I realised how intelligent he is and a very sorted man.

I don't know why he underestimates himself because I think he is one of the finest actors we have in the Hindi film industry. He has done some very good movies in Nineties. He has given good performances and hits before Dil chahta hai too. I mean I do understand that his best work has happened after Dil chahta hai but isn't that the case with many people that they improve and learn with experience.. Nineties was the learning time for him..

Irrfan Khan and Saif Ali Khan were having a very tough time in their careers in the 1990s which was ruled by only three Khans SRK, Salman and Aamir. But they both made it big in Bollywood only because of their hard work and dedication. Great respect to them. They are original gems of Indian Cinema.

He's good at interviews. Most interviews are staged to keep the interviewed comfortable and this guy seems to be able chose and keep the interviews 'a home conversation'. He's basically put out the audience views of the 90s. Why wouldn't one like it?
Saif is a versatile and underated actor. His performance in every film is mind-blowing but don't know why he's not famous as other khans.
because other than hum tum movie he has not given a solo actor superhit movie yet, he has given hits here and there but not consistent and so far I can remember hum tum is the only one movie which was his biggest solo superhit movie.
to me Saif's best role till today is Langda Tyagi in Omkara ..You got to give it to director as well on how to use actors..

She was always mature and supportive to him, but he was immature at that time to act like it in relationship and he even say I was not good or responsible at that time but she handled everything properly. She was great and he recognizing her greatness even after being her ex makes him great.

She was 34 and he was 20, she’d better be mature and ready to play mommy and handle everything if she’s gonna take advantage of a young boy’s confusion and conflict with his parents and seduce him, then invite him to her home for a first date and “never sent him home after that”...her own words. Then she proceeded to act as his manager, quit her job, married him without telling his parents and popped out 2 babies right away. He grew up and realized that he’s been played and didn’t like it. She demanded a big ransom from his family to stop her lying games and distortions in the press, yet she used the children to hurt him by poisoning them against him and not allowing him to see them. Even till today, she’s still a leech on him and his wife’s resources while she sits on her fat lazy ass and don’t work.

It was genuinely so nice to hear Saif speak, he seemed so real about his answers.
I only wish that the interviewer knew how to handle conversations like this, or have had more information about what they were talking about. It felt like Saif had to generalize stuff a lot just because the guy didn't know about it, while with a person who would've known their movies, I think there would've been so many fun stories, for example, from his multiple collaborations with Akshay Kumar successively.

ok first of all he is not directly descendant from the Tagore line bcos A. Sharmila Thakur is granddaughter of Latika Barua, and B. who herself is the granddaughter of Dwijendranath Thakur, brother of Rabindranath Thakur. So with a gap of 6 generations between Rabindranath Tagore and Saif Ali Khan, he is not even directly related to the tagore line.. neither on his nana's side nor on his nani's side. he is a very distant connected relative..if we even call that..

Check out his mother’s explanation if you search Google for “how is Saif related to Rabindranath Tagore.”

Sharmila Thakur is direct descendant of Dwijendranath Thakur, not of rabindranath Thakur..he is her 6times granduncle on her mother Side..I clearly mentioned that in my previous comment..and she is more closely related to Thakur from her mother side. As for her father side, she is descendant from one of the older cousins of Rabindrath Thakur. So with that being said, Saif Ali Khan is not a direct descendant..a direct descendant comes from one's own children and not from one's siblings, cousins or half siblings..saif is an indirect descendant and not the direct great grandson ur mentioning here..
