- Frenchtown Presbyterian music director Josh Wilson teamed up with St. Pauls Lutheran (Doylestown) music director Adam Bergstresser to perform a socially distanced organ/piano duet.

When i think back as a kid and then a teen and adult, these true, time tested and revered Hymns were and still are the musical foundation i proudly stand on. My dad was a Music Minister and had a deep love for choir, ensemble and orchestra olaying these timeless hymns, i would ocassionally catch him sitting in the front pew at church as i played the Rosgers Pipe organ and a close friend played the piano to some of our loved hymns, and i still see him smiling and waving his hand proudly as if directing our songs. This medley is amazing and soul stiring and thank you so much for sharing it with each of us out here!!!

What a beautiful church you have
I love love love the might, majesty, and power that pipe organ produces!!! I've had the honor of plying a Rodgers one that had a digital console connected to real true pipes in thee mezzanine of the church it's installed in, unfortunately their senior organist died three years ago and I was the most recent person to play it. I've got to give credit to Rev. Mike shaddig of the Cheboygan Lutheran Church in Cheboygan Michigan for allowing my chance to enjoy said organ to the fullest, that all being said. I have to say your dueling sounded so crisp and lively yet deep and powerful!! Thanks for sharing your gift with the rest of us out here.

I know that church!!!
to put aside the daily cacophanies, and to prepare to manage daily dissonance constructively, has been too rare in the midst of many congregations, with substantive efforts overwhelmed with too much else. people should rejoice when their very own widely share music when they can. comments here, now half a year old, are still encouraging, and as this is early December, surely, much music begins and can last a long time.

Praise To The Lord The Almighty
1. Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise him, for he is thy health and salvation. All ye who hear, now to his temple draw near; join me in glad adoration.
2. Praise to the Lord, who o’er al things so wondrously reigneth, shelters thee under his wings, yea, so gently sustained. Hast thou not seen how thy desires all have been granted in what he ordained?
3. Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee; surely his goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew what the almighty can do if with his love he befriend thee.
4. Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore him. All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before him. Let the “amen” sound from his people again; gladly forever adore him.

Not sure the type of organ but I know that’s a Matchless Cunningham piano from the Cunningham Piano Company in Philadelphia, PA!

Nice arrangement and beautifully performed! Although hard to tell from the camera angle, is that a Rodgers or what brand of digital organ?
The organ is a pipe instrument, pipe chambers would be visible in the upper left corner of the picture when the organist is shown.

Thanks for your response, but I've watched this video yet again carefully and I don't see a chamber at all. What brand of pipe organ is it (that was part of my original question)??
@@bhigdaddymark As I said, the chamber would be visible if the camera panned to the left and up towards the ceiling. The chambers are fronted with swell shades that are painted black, creating a large black place in the very rear of the balcony. The organ was rebuilt, I believe, about 20 years ago. The work was done by W. Zimmer and Sons, (not the current generation, Cornell Zimmer, but by the previous generation). There are no digital additions, all pipes. I am well familiar with the church as I live in Doylestown PA where St Paul's is located. Over the past 30 years, I have known three of the previous organists or directors of music.
