These are the types of things I live for. I appreciate the big, loud and obvious major books that everyone chases and would love to have some of those, but it's things like this that get my heart racing. Literally. That Haight-Ashbury denotation is an amazing detail. And, dear God, the misprint and the first Schultz? Amazing. Amazing. What a treasure trove.
What a great price you got this for. I would think the value of this collection is somewhere between 75 and 100,000. I know there’s work to put it together for selling but I think you got a fantastic deal
I honestly don't think I could sell any of these, Bry. I would probably have to keep this entire collection for myself. Display all the CGC's on a wall and have the coolest wall in town. Amazing, to say the least. The owner had superb taste in his comics.
Nice! I've been kind of wanting to something similar. Sell/Trade my collection for one book. Mine is a bit more standard though, mostly Marvel, ~3000 total, big books are FF 5, ToS 39, and Daredevil 1. Kind of want to get a relatively high grade Daredevil 1 Stan Lee signature.
@@BrysComics There is an 8.5 Stan SS DD 1 on eBay. I kind of want to ask if they'd trade. But I live on the other side of the country. Doubt they'd want to make the trip and I probably can't do it either. Haha.
Nice to collections that people put their love and attention into, before they get broken up & sold. Educational too.,especially with the golden age books. Thanks
Whatever book he's trying to get I hope he gets it because he got rid of a lot of cool old books I love all the old horror and True Crime and war comics
Absolutely stunning collection,, some very cool books, love the old ec horror titles and amazing "adult" fantasy run. But the superman 15 and early detective are my faves(Andrew not doreen orr)
Man, that's a lot of nice books! I have a 9.8 newsstand of Spawn 1 (bought off the rack as a kid, and unpressed when I graded it) but no way am I risking a downgrade for a signature. Kudos for that nice copy! Also, 10¢ per day for a typewriter? Great deal! 😛
I have long been tempted by the totally cool pre-code EC horror books and the Carl Barks Disney books, but dang, once you cross that line, there's no going back!! Not sure my wallet can handle it if I cross that line!!
Wow such an amazing collection. I would trade my collection for just a fraction of those books! I am such a huge fan of the four color stuff and creepy one amazing congratulations on that collection bro
@@BrysComics Way late (by 2 years) but, WRONG ANSWER for a Comic Dealer. The "significance" of a Bondage cover is that it's On a COMIC BOOK that were meant for CHILDREN around the ages of 6 - 12 year olds (at that time), not adults. These, and "Headlight" covers, put Fredric Wertham's panties in a bunch, so he wrote "Seduction of the Innocent" (along with "Parade of Pleasure" by Geoffrey Wagner), which in turn brought about the Comics Code Authority (Stamp on covers).
I liked the collection of comics I liked the Golden age I have I Superman 39 I'm gd had some of the comics in low grade I got Batman 171 but it has a stain on back
WOW 😳, such beautiful and rare books, I don't see how he could part with some of these books especially the Grenada and gold pedigree book. Those are what you call the unicorn books. Bry, seriously think of keeping some of the rare unicorn books, who knows when you'll see books like that again. Great video Bry. Take care brother.
I have that “Is this tomorrow “ book , found it at a local flea market for 40 bucks . Never knew it was some of Shultz first work . How cool is that !

The 9.8 Wolverine Limited set is awesome. The history and ads with the Golden Ages are awesome too! Nice buy.
It's amazing to see all the books that came out in the States, that we never saw in the UK. Superb!!!
Thanks again for being so great to work with! Picked up one of my grails, and still on the lookout for a second. - Matthew
Congrats my friend! And thank you, it’s been a pleasure!
That is the best curated collection that I've seen! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amazing collection! I enjoy seeing the random off the wall books as well as the big keys that everyone chases.

I agree, such a cool collection…
That neighborhood reminds me so much of my place in Mission Viejo and the homes all built in the late '80s.
Yeah it was in Simi Valley probably built late 80’s..
Thanks for the show, so many great early works. Proves that dollars will come & go - Comics are forever! Congrats
Incredible buy Bry. It's interesting info on some of those comics that guy showed.
What a great collection. I'll be needing that Chevalier after the holidays🎄

Nice collection Bry. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing to see such a wide range of comics. Have to wonder what grade his AF15 was though!!!
I love the stories of people selling a bunch of books in order to get a big book
Now that’s some cool old school stuff you don’t see very often. Right on!!!! Love the old horror comics…
Woah, the story about that Granada book blew my mind!
😂Liking the snap of the fingers and like magic Matthew appears with the books in the back of your SUV😂
Magic Matthew!

Congratulations, that is an amazing collection and score. I also agree with jungle 48, I don't think I could sell any of them.
Wow what a collection one of the best comic video ever
🙌
I dont know how you sell some of the books you do. I would want to keep so many of the books.
The Chevalier is George Costanza’s “Bro” from Seinfeld lol (or “Manzier” 😂)
😂😂😂
Wow! Amazing comics with amazing history!
What a cool collection! Thank you for sharing! Amazing adult fantasy started out as amazing Adventures

Wow this collection is insane, I haven't seen a few of these books before. You did good for sure.
What is the significance of a bondage cover?
Just kind of risqué to have a woman tied up on a cover I guess
