When I was 12 in 2001 I had a computer from 1993. I came home from School to find my dad had gone into my room and taken it down to the dump! In 23 years I still haven't got over it!
Cake Flour: Lighter than all-purpose flour, cake flour produces a soft crumb. Baking Powder & Baking Soda: The two add plenty of lift under the heavy topping. Salt: Balances the sweetness. Butter: Instead of melted butter, use 6 Tablespoons of softened butter. (Not the whole stick, though you do need more for the topping.) Creaming butter and sugar guarantees a buttery soft crumb. It’s how I prepare my vanilla cupcakes, too. Sugar: White granulated sugar sweetens and tenderizes the cake. There’s brown sugar in the topping to provide essential flavor! Egg Whites: Don’t let yolks weigh down a cake that’s already weighed down by the fruit topping. After all my recipe testing, I now swear by just egg whites here. So there’s no waste, here are my recipes using egg yolks. Vanilla Extract: Flavor. Sour Cream: Along with cake flour and egg whites, sour cream promises a tender cake crumb. Plain yogurt works in a pinch. Pineapple Juice & Milk: Liquid is key in most cakes because it thins out the batter. You typically make pineapple upside down cake with canned pineapple, so use some of the liquid in the can for the cake batter.Prepare the topping: Melt the butter, pour into an un-greased cake pan or pie dish, sprinkle with brown sugar, then arrange the blotted pineapple rings and maraschino cherries as you see in my photos and video tutorial. I always refrigerate the topping as I prepare the cake batter-this helps solidify the designed arrangement underneath the wet cake batter. Prepare the cake batter: Whisk the dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the egg whites and vanilla, then the sour cream. Pour the dry into the wet ingredients, pour in the pineapple juice & milk, and then beat to combine. You’ll have about 2 cups of cake batter and it’s very straightforward to prepare. Spread over topping: Pour and spread the cake batter over the chilled topping. Bake: Because of the wet bottom layer (which is the topping), the cake takes much longer than a typical 1 layer cake. Its juices will bubble up the sides, creating these incredible caramelized edges. (They’re so good!) With upside down cakes, it’s always good practice to place a baking pan or sheet on a lower rack to catch any juices should they splatter over the edges. Cool: Cool the cake for 20 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Inverting any sooner will create a seeping mess-we want the topping to “set” as much as it can. You can serve this cake warm, though it slices much better if you let it cool completely at room temperature first.

i get it you are a collection channel but what kind of kids are you guys raising where your kids can't even play with the toys? They are still in the box... when we were kids we opened our toys and played with them, but now we tell the kids to keep them in the box because it might skyrocket in value? The father didn't buy those toys for his son, he bought them for himself, and guilt tripped his son to not open them because of possibly flipping them. Horrible dad, but shops and channels like yours enable this behavior, and you are just as bad as this guy. Let these kids be their own person not an extension of the father.

Every boys rite of passage: the day the parents get rid of your childhood toys.
Almost every guy I know says that was when he stopped talking to his parents
I’ve been that kid before…selling my goodies for a higher reward but it was worth it in the end. No sacrifice, no victory!
Seeing that wall of funko pops behind that kid, has the bubble burst for that product line ?
Nope
Yes it has…anyone who buys or sells that crap is a total losser unfortunately.., 😊
When I was 12 in 2001 I had a computer from 1993. I came home from School to find my dad had gone into my room and taken it down to the dump! In 23 years I still haven't got over it!
Similar experience. I bring it up regularly to make sure they don't forget at every Christmas dinner.
The dad brought up Toy's R Us. Is his son even old enough to be a Toy's R us kid?
If he could play with only one toy ? It would probably be PS 5 ! $1400.00 ? That should get you a nice vacation at the local Walmart nowadays !
I think this is so entertaining. I want to work at TOY FEDERATION. Ryan please hire me.
the only bad part is the kid will not see much of that money
I’m always in awe of these collections being sold, especially the Gijoes, as a 80s kid I was hard on my joes and currently trying to out my collection back together lol
Wish your store was in NJ 😂
I'm in NJ too but I'm committed to taking a road trip this Spring/Summer to check out the store!
@@grendel0013 that’s awesome! If your close definitely hit the new Egypt flea market, 2 awesome vintage toy stores there.
@@buck1978 Oh most definitely! I went to the last one and had a blast! Do you know Chad from Comics Lair in Trenton? He's the one who organizes that show and his LCS is probably the one I frequent the most. If I can swing it I'm hoping maybe to get a small table myself for the next show! I'm more comics than toys but I love both!
I have a few joes I'm thinking of selling which ones are you looking for?
@@grendel0013 I don’t know em but keep
Me posted if your doing tables any time soon
he opened the box to see if a voltron was appropriate for his son? huh? lmao
As a Father, I buy my son toys and things to play with and enjoy; which I myself get enjoyment from. As a hard working Father, the only thing I tell my son is to take care of his stuff because it wasnt free and if he wants more stuff he has to take care of what he has. Also who knows, some day those things I buy him might be worth something. If not thats okay because Im instilling in him the life lesson that if you take care of your stuff it lasts longer.
All I can say this kid has a great dad. You are awesome, sir.😊
I love when father and sons bring their collections in...
Kid:we had multiples of things we didnt need
Dad:shut up your mom doesn't know that..
Kid:well we had doubles of...
Dad:We both love coming to Toy Federation!
Rofl
He is worried the wife will watch or is embarrased about his collecting.
I also love when they are hoping for a number and end up getting more. Phoning the wife was adorable.
This is why I will never have kids or a wife, give me that sweet sweet trade in baby!
Don't get me started on those KO Transformers, watched a Prime sell for £200 a couple of months ago, really wish you could contact other bidders to let them know as the seller wasn't interested in me telling them it was fake neither was Ebay.
@paulgraham4567....it doesn't matter anymore with transformers, what you call KOs are just as good as the originals....
So if you spent £200 on a figure thinking it was an 80s original only for it to be a cheap £40 fake you'd be OK with it.
AS ALWAY'S,YOU GUY'S R THE BESTEST!!! THANK YOU!!!!❤😂
You guys need a TV show on whatever streaming app. They wouldn't even need to give you a ton of money for production since you have it all set already.
SW sequels is an easy pass. Thats Disney poison.
haha. Poison!?
Agreed they not only poisoned an apple they poisoned the whole well !.
So much squandered potential...
Try Andor. Genuinely best thing since Empire, Thrawn, and Shadows. Felt like Disney on its knees begging for forgiveness.
So u took advantage of a poor dad and traumatized a little boy? Wow never seen u guys go so low.
That dad reminds me of every 80’s stereotype comic book convention guy
"When he Gets into Stuff I try to get Him as much as Possible" - It Amazes Me how Spoiled Kids are Now Days! I would have been So Lucky Growing up in the 80's if My Parents were like "Oh he's into this, Better get him Everything...." And Nothing is Opened or Played with, So kids also are Missing out on Creating Stories and Worlds in your Head, Imagination while Playing is so Important as a Child, and these Kids just Buy and Not Play...Super Sad.
Imagination is his MO. I bought the toys but they sat in the basement and I never gave them to him. His interests changed.
Gotta love being told to “Calm down” in text because of your audio issue.
It was short and over quickly and wasnt a big issue and could have easily been the first sentence without the second.
Been subscribed for a while and usually upvote each vid but opposite for this one.
@12:24 Blew dad's whole spot up lol. Nice!!!
“I’m gonna text my wife…she’ll tell me what to do…”
So he got cash then. 100% 😂
So he buys his son all of those toys, only to sell them to go on a vacation. Pretty sad if you ask me.
Toy Federation shop is officially on my bucket list.
A way to go from 🇧🇻, but there's airplanes right?😁
Maybe they give a foreigner a good deal on some vintage Star Wars to😂
Fun times at the toy store. Loved it guys.
How can you sell all that cool stuff for a stupid vacation??
I don't get it?? SAD STORY 🤑🤑🤑
I don't understand IF it was the sons collection then why does the mom or dad get a say in how he wants to do the deal. He only needs dad to sign the paperwork
i get it you are a collection channel but what kind of kids are you guys raising where your kids can't even play with the toys? They are still in the box... when we were kids we opened our toys and played with them, but now we tell the kids to keep them in the box because it might skyrocket in value? The father didn't buy those toys for his son, he bought them for himself, and guilt tripped his son to not open them because of possibly flipping them.
Horrible dad, but shops and channels like yours enable this behavior, and you are just as bad as this guy. Let these kids be their own person not an extension of the father.
Vintage collection figures are fun to collect but are getting really expensive at retail now.
Toy collecting in general is expensive these days, even current/recent stuff is insane, they seem to barely be in stores then it's scalper prices online
Breaks my heart!!
Show the toys you’re looking at. I understand you’re busy. But why put it on TH-cam if you don’t show the products you’re looking at
We did show them 🤷🏻♂️
Most are brought to their knees for Christ...This guy for the toys 💥
Man I love Toy Federation. I stopped by on a way to a job a year or 2 ago and picked up nearly the entire collection of McFarlane Stranger Things figures for dirt cheap, and their pricing has skyrocketed since then. Also got a couple of Walking Dead 12" statues for like $10 each. My buddy also bought a bunch of wrestling figures lol. I would love to go back there one day. They were super cool.
Another great way to start off a Saturday morning. Appreciate what you do. Thanks for sharing as always Toy Federation.
Thanks for commenting!!
that Big Convoy ouuuh man! 🦣
Yea!?
Was great to see the conversation between the generations. I feel bad for the kid though l, those toys hadn't been opened or played with.
He never got them. He stopped playing with transformers. They were in the basement and he and I went through what I had and he chose what he wanted to part with.
Poor kid had to sell his toys for a crappy Disney vacation....
So took his property to go to socialist park .....
@@ludgerwillgaster2095 You have brain-rot
My new favourite TH-cam show !!! Hope something from Bladerunner comes in one day. I would buy anything from that franchise. Thanks for the show.
Just what we needed on a Saturday morning. Thanks, TF!!!
Wish there was a store like this in Germany... 😢
I can't even lie I truly understand that kids hurt😢😢😢😢not easy seeing things go n u get a chance to get more but then you're parents decided to take the moment instead 😢😢😢....great video n content as always
Poor kid. I lost all of my MOTU and Gobots to garage sales in 1987 and 1988.
Just curious, have u ever brought it up to ur parents about them selling ur figures
After Episode VIII came out, I was officially done with Star Wars. I haven't seen anything since, nor am I even remotely interested.
I went to see the phantom menace and after that I refuse to watch any of the new SW films.
Gonna say that fathers sucks selling his sons toys.
I wish Disney would watch this episode and see what those movies did to the franchise
We all knew what the wife would say.
