@@treefiddy209I mean Glynda's place was at beacon, it makes sense she wouldn't be a part of the story in haven or atlas, especially since they can't communicate between kingdoms now.
This is mainly speculation, but maybe the vault that contains the Crown of Choice might be a labyrinth that was constructed under the City of Vale since we do see a couple of corridors that connect to the hallway that lead to the machine that was originally designed to transfer Amber’s half of the Fall Maiden’s power over to whomever Ozpin chose to be an ideal candidate for Maidenhood like Pyrrha. That hallway isn’t the only hallway! And not to mention that one unknown member of Salem’s Inner Circle had a difficult time pinpointing the relic’s location. There’s a reason why Salem destroyed Vale and why her forces were previously struggling to find that Crown. Ozpin even mentioned that he hid the Crown differently than the other schools which anyone can easily find the vault door directly ahead of them as soon as they go down the elevator to the room that the vault is in. Why didn’t we see that same kind of golden-colored door in the Vault of the Fall Maiden under Beacon Academy but we see those two corridors as we saw Oz, Glynda, Qrow, Ironwood, and Pyrrha walk down that hallway? Salem already has the key in the form of Cinder, and without the knowledge of where the lock is, the key may as well be nothing more than a fancy side piece. And what better way to confuse your enemies than a winding maze! Salem could’ve possibly destroyed all of Vale to uncover Ozpin’s secret labyrinth.
um, how about this theory Glynda is the relic and not just the spirit, let me explain bc its a bit of a stretch but would make sense on why she cant be near the other relics she is powerful and as the relic of knowledge showwed they can have their own free will but are limited by their rules, so its not outside of the posability that Glynda herself is the relic given human form and full free will and the only way to claim usage of the relic is you have to defeat her in combat (already hard seeing how she can trade blows with maidens) so she will revert to her relic form, its a long shot in the dark but it would explain so much about her power and how she always seemed to know what the students were getting up to, even when they were talking great care to not let anyone know but Glynda still knew
Here is my theory, the crown was never hidden at Beacon to start but was taken somewhere else by others that Oz trusted and Glynda and Tai are trying to track them down. My money would be the old royal families went into hiding after giving up their thrones and now safe guard the crown.
Argus is in a really good spot where there's a really tall wall in between vast lands with a dense Forest and the sea & the fact Jaune's sister and her gf ended up fine in that home I mention when we last knew there was an army of Grimm and could've ended up failing to them, it's obvious that is a Safe Haven and definitely still feel it's that and a good place to be in & feel she went to Argus for whatever reason.
Maybe Glynda went and reached out to the Team SAFR from “RWBY: the Grimm campaign”, It’d be awesome to see them in the main show. They were dealing with a bunch of artifacts that were heavily implied to be related to Salem. Since their story takes place two(ish) years before the start of the show they’ve had to have been up to something up till now. Perhaps after their adventure in the Campaign Oz made them an offer to track down stuff anything connected to his and Salem’s past. Bringing us to now where Glynda, Tai, and Team SAFR could be collecting tools and weapons that Oz used against Salem in the past. If anyone besides Oz knows were stuff like that is, it’d be Glynda.
I think Ozpin found a way to bring the environment Crown's vault out into Remnant, so the crown wasn't sitting in a vault waiting for Salem, and that the environment is the 'Forever Fall'. Glinda is definitely tied to the crown, Ozpin could told her where he hid it, and told her to move it, or the crown is actually hidden on her cape, and only Ozpin has the power to bring it back into the world, or she is the Spirit of the Crown itself.
Part of me is thinking that the moment Ruby said to refer to her for clarification, Gylnda has now a target on her back (hence her reaction to Ruby's message). I wouldn't be surprised if Salem has sent her grimm or other agents to hunt Glynda down and force her to reveal the location of the last relic. I now finally understand why Salem attacked Vale after leaving Atlas.
That's a good point. By mentioning her name, it did inform Salem that Glynda is someone who knows more than most. I wonder if that will be mentioned in Volume 10
Welcome to the fandom! I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying my videos! I'm almost certain that we will get at least Volume 10 if not more since VIZ media purchased RWBY, I'm sure they are going to do something with the intellectual property. It may just take some time
This is probably quite a stretch for a theory but every maiden we have found has had something occur to them - amber was attacked and in a critical condition with the power split, raven used vernal as a deliberate decoy, the winter maiden powers were essentially a bit of a hot potato for a while, so what if as a bit of a red herring Glynda is not actually in vale in relation to the relic of choice but actually because she herself is the summer maiden or is the person entrusted to guard them if maybe they're only young or something similar to what we heard about the spring maiden. Not sure where this would leave the relic of choice but Salem must have had a reason to go after an already crippled Vale before Vacuo. Back in Volume 6 She did start talking about Vacuo being the next target and whilst she may not have trusted cinder, at that point cinder was absent so what reason would she have for changing her plans unless it was because hazel said ozpin was back. So the grounds of this theory are that Glynda brought the summer maiden or the revelation of her being the summer maiden to Ozpin and maybe Qrows attention but it was decided to keep her within the realms of vale to safeguard the Sword - This is the other aspect of it, lots of theories about the relic of choice but the relic held in the vault at vacuo is literally the Sword of Destruction - whilst knowledge, choice and creation are powerful tools, they each have their limitations- what are the limitations of the sword or is it the one that maybe they needed to keep as far away from being unlocked as possible...keeping the summer maiden quiet and in an entirely different kingdom would help with that....Ozpin loves his secrets and he states he kept the relic of choice harder to find but not the sword so maybe instead its the Summer maiden also kept quiet...she is the one that has basically never been mentioned. Though potentially trusting a maiden to keep an unaffiliated relic guarded would be a clever tactical switch, the other element is that of Glynda's semblence - telekinesis - I know that we have only seen it used mainly to repair or throw things but it could also be unbelievably destructive, going back to the very first volume - Glynda was able to do something we've only seen maidens do, she created a thunderstorm - granted maidens were maybe not in the concept at the time but no reason it couldn't changed for that. Sorry bit long winded :D
Like the whole resource scenes and manufacturing I can believe that well manufacturing would still be around in places like the frame Kingdom and don’t say they don’t have it because we don’t see it you can make the same argument in Atlas and pretty much everyone would fight willingly and would use whatever resources they have around the world Like dust Warehouses which were not being in Atlas above or valuable airships. It’s more likely she is trying to protect the crown of choice from Salem.
Don't forget about the Island of Vital, where the Great War was ended. The huntsman academies were founded after this event. If Oz was the last king of Vale, it is possible that the crown stayed where it was removed.
I think Glynda is guarding the Relic of Choice because she is someone who can make sound judgment calls with little information without losing herself.
I really do think Glynda was the Guardian of the Relic of Choice. She is the key to the Relic. Ozpin/Oscar knows. He even said it, "It will be tricky to find it." meaning he knows what to do and may know how it will be done to get it.
Also from rwby beyond, taiyang is not in vacuo either. I'm wondering if glynda n Taiyang are working together to either find or protect the relic of choice
I don't know what specifically would lead up to this, or whether this would result in her redemption, but I do think it's important to point out that Cinder, as the fall maiden, is the maiden of Choice. I think at some point she'll get her hands on the crown, and that it will show her a choice. And I'm VERY excited to see how that plays out for her. I'd be surprised if they actually had her help the protagonists but I do think that whatever choice the crown shows her could lead Cinder to defect from Salem Circling back to Glynda I think it's possible she could lead Cinder to the crown, whether unwittingly or as a trap. The inevitable fight between them would be a neat little callback to their fight in volume 1 too!
Slowly getting back into RWBY, I just wanna say... If the Dust Seller has some kind of eldritch importance A-La the gas station attendant in Persona 4, I'd be really happy with the decision. Because it's so dumb I think it'd be funny.

TL;DR Just some Crazy Theories, nothing really constructive honestly. But I enjoyed thinking about them. Crazy Theory #1: What if that cloaked figure in the 1st RWBY V9 Beyond episode was a reincarnation of Glynda? She reincarnated like Ozpin did, except she took over her host body immediately and went looking for Ozpin. It would take some time to get from Vale to Vacuo, so to Port and Oobleck she simply stayed behind, but in reality died and reincarnated either by having died in battle or having fulfilled a particular purpose or goal of her current life. Now she reincarnates and ends up in a body a lot closer to Ozpin. Crazy Theory #2: What if this is finally the return of Roman Torchwick? I will die on this hill lmao. We never saw him die and Neo believes him dead, but we have yet to see an actual body. If I 've learned anything from reading the X-Men comics, don't count on somebody being dead until you see the body. Even then, wait a few years just to be sure. Crazy Theory #3: Glynda is the key to accessing the Relic of Choice. But it requires free will. She cannot be forced or coerced into opening the Vault. She has to do it freely of her own volition without interference of others Crazy Theory #4: Shopkeep becomes an Avenger lmao
I'm just worried they off screened her ala Madam Bones, which in the world of harry potter, was the current head of the wizard law enforcement who had been personally attacked and unalived by Voldemort. Only this case, have salem go after her personally just to get rid of her character
I will do a video on the Justice League crossover eventually! Unfortunately I don't think they will come back due to Warner Brothers still owning the Justice League intellectual property
I'm looking forward to seeing what VIZ will do with RWBY as well! There's a lot to explore beyond Volume 10 so I hope we can see a lot from them! And I was at a Tournament for a card game called Grand Archive!
Both ambrosius and jinn were BLUE....blue as FUUUUUUCK. glenda looks HUMAN. Though, itt's not unreasonable to assume that a guaradian or spirit of a relic couldn't be less blue and more humanlike....i think it more likely that glenda is proecting the relic, or that even carries the relic with her. Ozpin may have hidden the relic inside her coat like dumbledore hid the philospherr's stone inside the mirror of erised....or something similar to that, that only one who wanted to find or protect the crown would be able to obtain it. Problem: the relics canonically ATTRACT the grimm. they are drawn to it, with the desire to destroy it, as the dark brother's creations were drawn to destroy all the creations of the brother of light. So traveling with the relic would cause grimm to CONSTANTLY be after glenda. I think it more likely that the relic is hidden/protected in a way by glenda that would be nigh-impossible for salem or her forces to get to.
These are all good ideas and most are very possible. But I guess I'll be that guy with the one theory no one talks about. She may be either Dead or more likely captured. I mean she stayed behind so the others could evacuate as Salem attacked Vale. She may be strong enough to fight a half powered Maiden but Salem and an army of Grim with a full maiden Cinder. I doubt she could win. I am hoping that isn't the case but being Oz's right hand woman Salem be questioning her about the the relic. also I don't think she is the relic since the relic spirit seem to be free only when activated. Cool theory just not enough evidence to back it up. Unless the sword is revealed to take a human form than game on. She may be the guardian of it. Like how it was passed down through generation by an all knowing king and queen. *Yes I think Glynda is the wise King's great to the 10th power grand kid.*
There’s another TH-camr called Judgmental Critter who theorizes that Glyndia is the Summer Maiden. That could be possible since the Summer Maiden guards the Crown of Choice and her emblem is a crown.
@@redrover1172 Only heard Qrow explain it once when first watched volume 5 back in 2019 so I don’t remember it very well. Thanks for the clarification.

Crazy Theory #3: Glynda is the key to accessing the Relic of Choice. But it requires free will. She cannot be forced or coerced into opening the Vault. She has to do it freely of her own volition without interference of others
Crazy Theory #4: Shopkeep becomes an Avenger lmao
I'm just worried they off screened her ala Madam Bones, which in the world of harry potter, was the current head of the wizard law enforcement who had been personally attacked and unalived by Voldemort. Only this case, have salem go after her personally just to get rid of her character
Can you do a video on the justice league crossover and could they return to help fight salem
I will do a video on the Justice League crossover eventually!
Unfortunately I don't think they will come back due to Warner Brothers still owning the Justice League intellectual property
Ok but hey you never know
I don’t know about that one. I mean with James Gunn now in charge of DC Maybe, okay.
What if Mercury becomes a spy if next encounter with Emerald he changes his mind for helping out Salma out.
Can't wait to see how Viz will continue the story! Btw, which game are you gonna compete on? I like them too!
I'm looking forward to seeing what VIZ will do with RWBY as well! There's a lot to explore beyond Volume 10 so I hope we can see a lot from them!
And I was at a Tournament for a card game called Grand Archive!
I’m just imagining Glenda saying popular 💅
The Shopkeep == Tom Bombadil
I thought that glinda's absense had something to do with her VA but i'm not sure tho
I think Glynda has a new Voice Actor but I'm not entirely sure
@PhoenixNight is good to hear, I don't really know what happened with the previous one, but i'm glad glinda Will appear again.
Good theory btw
@@alejandrovalenzuela4748 What's weird is she came back as Tex for RvB Restoration. Hopefully, she's willing to return as Glynda too.
@@mauriceisaac3646 yeah, would be nice
*Yes I think Glynda is the wise King's great to the 10th power grand kid.*
i heard Salem destroyed vale after atlas fell, she's probably dead
Doesn't matter if Rwby comes back. If they don't replace the crappy writers and plot direction, it will die out.
They ripped wizard of oz abit hard with those names. lol
There’s another TH-camr called Judgmental Critter who theorizes that Glyndia is the Summer Maiden. That could be possible since the Summer Maiden guards the Crown of Choice and her emblem is a crown.
Fall maiden guards the crown, summer maiden guards the sword.
@@redrover1172 Only heard Qrow explain it once when first watched volume 5 back in 2019 so I don’t remember it very well. Thanks for the clarification.
Glynda Goodwitch is a strict but kind woman, full of duty and compassion. I think she is on her way to Solitas, hoping to find James Ironwood, because she cares about him.
I have a little dairy. Glenda could be the summer maiden and she is staying away so then the sword of destruction is safe
What if Glyinda is the Summer Maiden and dont want to be close to the Vacuo ralic. Safety reasons.
she has been thrown in the trash with the other 99% of the supporting cast that never got more development
You do realize the entire cast can't follow the main characters thru the whole story right?
Isnt Rwby dead? Why continue talking about a series that isnt going to continue?
Who says it's not going to continue? I'm not even going to go into this but even IF the series is dead, why would we stop talking about it if we love it? Your comment is really just useless...
@@adamsilfu even if its in pore tast comments are good for the youtube algorithm
incase you, including those two other who have replied to you, didn't get the message, but RWBY found a home in VIZ Media, so ergo, it ain't dead.
@@pauljordan0203 ye ye I knew lol but thanks
@@adamsilfu you're welcome.
Interesting video also I have a question if One of the main characters die Tragic way Like Blake or wiess Ruby Would that be a brutal death like how Walter White dies at the end of breaking bad.
