- When the Live Action Toy Story movie was finished, before we put it up on TH-cam, we recorded this director's commentary and watched the movie side by side with the original. Here it is: it's another way to enjoy the show. As a bonus, I will put a clickable link to all of the inside jokes and references throughout the movie. Hope you enjoy it!

I remember when I first saw your live action one there were a couple scenes where I couldn't tell the difference. With them side by side I can, but that's still pretty impressive.
I wouldn't mind if they remade Toy Story 2 but they never made The Prospector (Stinky Pete) except in Japan costing thousands, they need a Al's toy barn set and Al's apartment, shot the road scene, and must importantly the airport scene

It took them 2 years just to make an 80 minte remake, that might be a one time thing.
There's another channel working on a live action remake of TS2, I sure wonder how they'll pull that off.
Years later, and this is still one of the most impressive things I've seen on the internet.

Tbh I'm still wondering if woody was being genuine when he said buzz was a cool toy and was better than him or was it just a way to get himself out of the crate (but he did become real grateful when buzz actually helped)
Woody could probably understand that his life was gonna end and probably came to terms that he took a backseat in Andy's mind and the fact that woody only has one function compared to buzz's many there was no point pretending that he was the favourite and that there was no point holding a grudge anymore
So cool... I've wondered about the commentary. This is great already even though I haven't seen it yet. I'm going to view this. Great job guys.

I remember when I first saw this remake when I was really young. This was basically my childhood. It made me really upset when I found that it was taken down. I'm 17 me and when I found it again yesterday, it made me really happy that it was back up so the children of today can watch this...
