Hadn’t even thought of such an idea until I saw both of these videos. Been a few days since I first saw this, just added the final teleporter to my collection today! for now that is, we’ll see what’s inside that neutrino detector once I get the courage to swim there… thanks for the inspiration!

How do you keep the your teleport network in the facility safe from night events? Do the enemies not target them and does each workbench have a suppression upgrade?
All benches are fully upgraded and I make sure to place them in spots that enemies don't roam to. Have had the bases like this for over 100 hours of play without a single one of them getting destroyed or even attacked.

This is such a good idea. I have two teleporters that I use to go between Office Sector and the Hydroplant. Having easy access to all the portal worlds just saves a ton of time. But why all the batteries in the Office sector? Wouldn’t 4-5 carbon batteries be enough or do you have a reason to have that many batteries?
@@dreaddor 5:22 where you keep all the personal teleporters. Also Quick question, how do you label the Teleporters? Im trying to set up a network like yours but I cannot find a way to label them.
@@OfficeMaxxingTo label the teleporters, open the workbench they are being synced to and click the rename button for the workbench. Give it a name and then afterwards sync the teleporter to the workbench. The Teleporter should have the same label you named the workbench. You can rename Item Stands and Chests this way as well to have them labeled. As for the batteries, if you check out part 1 of the video you'll see all of the defenses my base is powering. It's a lot - th-cam.com/video/f-X6zApqb0M/w-d-xo.html In total the base is powering 38 Tesla Coils 37 Disc Turrets 11 X-Ray Towers 2 Symphonist Scarecrows & 3 Fridges, 4 Stoves, 2 Ovens, 1 Food Prepping Table, 6 Charging Stations, 3 Workbenches, 1 Repair bench, 1 Brain Sync, 1 Auto Salvager, 1 Pest Teleporter ,1 Distribution Pad, 1 Laser Charging Station and 1 Portal Toilet. I know if I didn't daisy chain them I wouldn't need as many but then there would be 1. Batteries scattered all over the base which I did not want. I build very aesthetically. 2. It would make it impossible for me to link each areas Tesla Coils up to a single lever if I wired it more efficiently. The only way to have a single lever controlling many Tesla coils over a large area is to Daisy Chain the power source unfortunately. And no.. That massive amount of defense isn't necessary but it's something I wanted to do.
I wouldn't exactly say obsolete. It's not like the teleportation network they add with Dark Energy is going to be free to build and set up. It'll probably take a lot of resources new to that update. Meanwhile I'll already have a teleportation network up and running and can use those newer resources on something else.
Its how you place stuff is the most impressive thing for me. Im just too lazy or a brainfart take over and im forget what i was gonna do.

If you just skim the water and dive only when you are about 10 meters away from the detectors walls you will be fine
Do not be caught in those underwater tunnels when the leyak comes. I've panicked and swam right in those fans so many times.

do buildings not reset when the portal worlds do?

I setup my stuff in the furniture store and it's real nice. But maybe the mirror world is better.

Can you give me the timestamp on the video for the batteries you're referring to. Or do you mean from video 1 in the lobby near the security bot?
