This shit gave me goosebumps and had me at the edge of my seat. I'm gonna face Godfrey with a whole new resolve after this. Not as an enemy but as a mentor.
The only detail I saw that was missing was the rippling arm when their fists first meet. When All Might and the Nomu clash fists together for the first time, that slight pause also shows the Nomu's arm ripple from the blow. It's a real show of All Might's power at a time when you haven't yet seen just how powerful he really is.
I like how you made the host a pumpkin head too, especially since I believe it's implied that they are failed Gladiators from the coliseums created by Godfrey around the world (with there being one in Leyndell too). Makes the thematics just all that much better, the failed gladiator against the Lord of the arena.

The Tarnished, us, being led as a nobody out of the Lands Between by Godfrey himself upon the exile becoming stronger and fighting their way through every obstacle in the land to come upon the final test before entering the Erdtree, their former shepherd, is much more thematically sound than a random gladiator that happened to fight in a coliseum that Godfrey built while he was Elden Lord fighting him
Host was wearing armor and taking the role of Deku, he wasn't the pumpkin head. You even hear the bell from him being summoned. Also, I don't think they're failed gladiators, just gladiators who have gone insane over time.

This man rizzed up the literal vessel of a God, led entire armies by himself, and lost his purpose due to literally being so strong he vanquished all worthy opponents, and he did it all without magic.
