I like your vlog the most, because you are super intelligent, but so humble. Nothing is an issue to you, even if your circumstances are not always 100%. Making something out of recyclable stuff. Love it🎉

Espero tu proximo video. suerte, buena semana
Nice work Robert, Why do'nt you put the solar panels on the roof of your shed? Ik wil be easy. A dry roof and energy from the sun. Robert put the metal above your container with grafel and plants. Or else your cats are using this as litterbox. I know because my cats poop also in my grafel pad in the garden and my elevated plantboxes. I made metal rasters so the can't make it a litterbox anymore. Greetings from the Netherlands😊
I can't put solar panels on the shed because they are in the shade for half the day. Because of the big trees. Do you mean the bio filter from the septic tank? It doesn't matter there, cats can go there. All water from the house goes through this gravel filter. Thanks Vivian 👍🙂
@MyCabinInTheMountain Yes Robert I am talking about your grey water system, still.... Cats can carry parasites and other things that can make you ill. Better save than sorry. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thanks Vivian, next year those plants will grow and be about 2m tall, these plants grow like crazy and will be so dense that the cat won't be able to get in. Anything I put over will be in the way. I can put some over until spring but I have to remove it later 👍🙂
If you have the option, I suggest buying a 24V hydrophor (self-starting) pump and 24V lights, so that you don't have to run the inverter all the time (it can save up to 1 kWh/day). 24V pump is also nice as it doesn't have a large starting current and it doesn't overload your inverter when using washing machine. If you need some suggestions where to buy them in Slovenia, let me know :). Also, do you have a small electric heater so that you can use electricity for heating when you have too much? (might come in handy in spring and autumn, when there is both sunny and cold)
My 24v water pump just gave up, it was cheap from amazon. I'll install the 220v tomorrow. I also have the 24v lights and haven't installed them yet, probably next week. I usually buy everything online so I don't know where.
@@MyCabinInTheMountain Good for 24V lights, that is a really bit improvement. For the 24V pump, I can recommend Shurflo pump (I have used them in quite heavy-duty applications). It does cost 150-160€, but it is very reliable (if you can afford it of course). Ayways, keep up the good work!
I looked up what kind of pump it was, I had the same one before but it was a cheap copy. I just bought a normal 220v hydrophore pump and it works great. No more problems with electricity because these batteries are huge. That old pump was terribly loud and you could hear it throughout the house when it was working because the sound was transmitted through the water pipes.
I love what you are doing. It is a lot of hard work but a labour of love! I am worried about your chickens getting cold; maybe put a screen around the cage? What kind of trees did you buy?

Zdravím Vás😀 vidím velké pokroky.👍 Podobné baterie máme taky, (záložní zdroj) ale jsou mimo dosah vody, měla bych o ně strach vedle sprchy🤔 Kolik máte těch solárních panelů? Nemůžu je spočítat😀 Přemýšlím co utáhne míchačku.....
Yes, with the old battery I was always afraid of the shower, but with the new ones there is no problem, they are water tight. Solar panels 6 x 300w = 1800w. Sorry, I don't understand about the mixer.
🤠 (try again ) since your titles are the pretty much the same, can you go back to episode numbering them, or a specific date in the title, if I want to refer someone to you making charcoal, or filtration system, it's difficult enough to try to refer them to a certain video, I don't bother, also if your title doesn't display , a search on such topics will not land on your video

The next time your chickens are in the wrong place - call them & offer them some grain - they will come running.
