So, based upon the information you already know thusfar... So, not only does Sunny remember this stuff from "three or four years ago", but also based upon what Omori looks like, I'm going to guess on the lower side of that spectrum and say the last time Sunny was at school was when he was 12, maybe 13, 14 tops (I know the answer, but I'm only using theoretical information that you've seen thusfar). I'm really happy that you're taking your time to explore the town! There's a LOT that you could miss by focusing only on progressing the main plot, and while not all of it is "important" per se, and you don't really get rewards, it can be really interesting and make the town itself feel that much more alive. With certain interactions, you also get to see more of the characters' personalities come out, like Kel's, so I'd say all the exploration is worth it! Oh, and I've loved hearing your thoughts on the real-world sections, so far. Sunny being a silent protagonist is also really interesting in that it's treated and acknowledged as an aspect of his character, but you'll get a bit more on that later on.
i can't believe I've played this route twice and watched an entire playthrough of it and i literally had no idea the jobs/houses or the back of fix it existed 😭
5:37 On the topic of toxicity within the town, I never really saw it that way. I guess it's because I never really stopped seeing them as the kids/teens that they are. Obviously, the bullying can't be anything other than that, but I didn't really bat an eye at the other stuff. The fight with Angel wasn't malicious like with Aubrey, it was more of a playfight with a brat who thought he was tough enough to beat up two older boys. In regards to Kel's threat, I was just under the impression that he knew Angel can be stubborn and went straight to the thing that would get the boy to talk without any more violence. I always saw it as an issue of maturity and lack of supervision rather than toxicity. These teens are running around town with zero adults around, all trying to deal with their emotional baggage the best they can.
i love how casually you use gender-neutral pronouns when you don't know a character's gender yet! a lot more of us need to start getting into that habit
No we don't. Its very obvious which characters are male and female. People doing nonsense like that means they don't think for themselves and dumb themselves down, we need less of that.
@@ShinigamiRyan That’s a pretty unhealthy mind set. As people who look really gender neutral exists. Two of Aubrey’s new friends, Kim & Charlie, are pretty good examples of that. A decent amount of the fandom weren’t completely sure if they were boys or girls. Mainly due to Kim’s androgynous appearance and Charlie’s massive frame.
@@kaylemathewcomendador6964 Its actually a realistic mindset. Tomboys exist. Neither Kim nor Charlie are trans or gender neutral. A decent amount of fans have never taken a biology course then. It takes two seconds to think and figure it out instead of assumming trans like she did. If anything its insulting to call girls who don't look like regular girls as trans.
Faraway town is a relatively small town and basically everyone knows everyone, that's one of the reasons why these "strangers" let sunny and kel in, most of them have know at least of sunny since he was young

The two paintings on the easels in the painter's house are actually official OMORI artworks from Omocat, the one in her bedroom is the 2014 artwork and the one she asks for you to critique is from 2020 (I think), so you could find them online!
“Hey old lady, you shouldn’t trust people this much for a small chore. Im still gonna take advantage of your dumb actions and rate your bathroom, but you shouldn’t do this”

omg the math tutor thing!! I would have LOVED that if I'd found it when I was playing through this lol I need to remember to take more time to explore next time... I did not realize you could get part-time jobs in the real world and I spent most of those sections kinda annoyed at being broke LMAO
The orange joe got the same reaction from me, but I used to work in a coffeehouse that made a drink with orange and Irish cream in coffee and it was a hit, much to my surprise. So some folks like citrus in their coffee. 🤷♂️ I was shocked.
Minor spoilers: The only people I know the hooligans bully are Basil, then Sunny and Kel once they go after them for Basil's photo album. And by the end of the game they probably don't even do that. Then again Kim and Vance do try to steal candy.
You seem to be warming up to reality quite well. You're definitely on the right track in stocking up on supplies. You might want to invest in a little pepper spray in the not so distant future. It won't make too much of a difference, but it could make your "struggles" a lot easier.
So an observation I had while playing the game is that Charlie (the big person) is most likely the real world equivalent of sharleen (the big person in the playground) With the implications of Charlie being the "daughter sharleen who takes care of the grandmother and found new friends recently" and sunny remembering them as sharleen from when they were kids it might mean Charlie is trans! Idk just an observation.
I always love to see reactions. I want them to know the truth to see their reaction but I don’t want them to know the truth so they can keep their innocence about the game :(
All of the kids are references to characters in the dream playground. Kim is Berly (Kimberly), Van is Vance, Charlie is Sharleen, Angel is Angel, and Mikhail is Mikhail Also, I'd argue Sunny still considers the main cast his friends. The first thing Omori sees when exiting White Space is his friends. I think this is also backed up by the fact that they are the named characters in reality. Even after learning the names of other characters, they are still referred to by titles or descriptions.
If i remember correctly, you asked that if you should play Undertale, right? For me i enjoy to rewatch it but it has pretty long gameplay. So if you want to play a something ASAP while finishing Omori, i recommend Puppet Combo's games i guess.

I am loving your playtrough so far!
20:51 nah that's just where the guitar guy (whose name was Eric or something i think?) lives, he just doesn't use his bed much
"behold my final form" oh boy I can feel the heat already
9:00
I think the description referring to "Lazy moms" is telling us something about Sunny's perspective.
When you put yourself in such a high persona it is easier to degrade everyone else then actually meet up to your own expectations.
Faraway town is a relatively small town and basically everyone knows everyone, that's one of the reasons why these "strangers" let sunny and kel in, most of them have know at least of sunny since he was young
I very much enjoy that you are willing to explore, theorize, and think about the game. It makes watching the playthrough so much more fun and personal.
Im loving your gameplay! Just seeing your thoughts about everything that this game gives us, and how it can be interpreted is so interesting!!! wishing you enjoy omori a lot
Oof that was a bad place to stop for the kinds of questions at the end of the video
sunny was punching, kel had taken the knife from sunny after aubrey
I’m glad you’re doing a lot of side quests, the real world segments are in short bursts if you don’t.
Im still gonna take advantage of your dumb actions and rate your bathroom, but you shouldn’t do this”
I just hope you will never stop playing this awesome game and finish the game completely. ❤️
I'm really loving your OMORI playthrough so far! If you haven't tried it yet then i recommend playing End Roll! I'd love to see you play it sometime :)
Kel just aww ily for using that knif- WAIT NO GIMME
Angel: You bully!
Me: You literally asked for this!
This game have so much parallel and symbolism.
I can't wait for the next episode
I'm loving seeing your journey through this game, keep going 💙
Healing item at the pharmacy is better that the candy store.
Washing dishes is not that boring when I'm listening to your videos lol
omg the math tutor thing!! I would have LOVED that if I'd found it when I was playing through this lol I need to remember to take more time to explore next time... I did not realize you could get part-time jobs in the real world and I spent most of those sections kinda annoyed at being broke LMAO
next episode she finds out the main plot point
There are still some jobs in the stores, and a few in othermart
The orange joe got the same reaction from me, but I used to work in a coffeehouse that made a drink with orange and Irish cream in coffee and it was a hit, much to my surprise. So some folks like citrus in their coffee. 🤷♂️ I was shocked.
Props to that girl, learning a second languege is soooo hard. But anyways love your vids, keep it up with this grat work
Minor spoilers:
The only people I know the hooligans bully are Basil, then Sunny and Kel once they go after them for Basil's photo album.
So an observation I had while playing the game is that Charlie (the big person) is most likely the real world equivalent of sharleen (the big person in the playground)
With the implications of Charlie being the "daughter sharleen who takes care of the grandmother and found new friends recently" and sunny remembering them as sharleen from when they were kids it might mean Charlie is trans! Idk just an observation.
Love this playthrough of Omori! You should consider playing 'To The Moon' or 'Life is Strange' games as well sometime in the future!
Yes, the best character
I always love to see reactions. I want them to know the truth to see their reaction but I don’t want them to know the truth so they can keep their innocence about the game :(
You can take also take a job at the fix-it and fish store at the market.
14:08 Gardening shears, hmmm
In this episode, we see a therapist learn about neckbeards
All of the kids are references to characters in the dream playground. Kim is Berly (Kimberly), Van is Vance, Charlie is Sharleen, Angel is Angel, and Mikhail is Mikhail
Also, I'd argue Sunny still considers the main cast his friends. The first thing Omori sees when exiting White Space is his friends.
I think this is also backed up by the fact that they are the named characters in reality. Even after learning the names of other characters, they are still referred to by titles or descriptions.
Thanks for the Kim/Berly full name, I didn't even realize ot before...
Angel's name in the dream world is Neb.
If i remember correctly, you asked that if you should play Undertale, right?
For me i enjoy to rewatch it but it has pretty long gameplay. So if you want to play a something ASAP while finishing Omori, i recommend Puppet Combo's games i guess.
Maverick more like
Cool
He's cool
Yeah you got all the Math answers correct
i love the maverick so much but he makes me rlly sad
NOT THE GARDEN SHEARS 😭😭😭
Charlene and Basil are my favorite kiddos. :3
To be fair to Kel he didn't apply to be a tutor.
I love this title
I mean... Kel did just beat up a couple kids with his assaulting friend for information, then blackmailed for more info. All to bully a girl?
