That might be the best 3 mins of a car video I've ever seen. Simply gorgeous work! That 333SP is the one! Beautiful event and footage did it justice. It did being a tear to my eye when the 333SP came into focus.
@@whodat630 Agreed, could have watched 30 minutes of that alone. The story was engaging as well. I do love how open John is about his failures. Nobody learns from successes, but those that can acknowledge their failures, those are the people who have credibility.
I saw that car when it first rolled out at Road Atlanta. We then watched it compete at Sebring and Daytona. It brings you to the races. Max Papis driving was always fun.
People being rewarded for not driving these beautiful machines baffles me. I own a 1982 308 GTSi with 90,000 miles and i'm more proud of the rock chips, scrathes and diy fixes than I am of the perfect aspects of the car. But bravo for giving us long shots of these amazingly designed pieces of art. It was nice to see so many closeups of these unobtainable models.
Congratulations on the wins for these awesome pieces of machinery. Great intro and outro to show the rest of us this amazing event. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great videos. Easily one of my top three channels on all of TH-cam!!

Just listening to this story, I could feel my hair turning grey a day my blood pressure rising. Not sure if I could have handled that kind of stress. Then again, I've always been a detail-oriented kind of guy, and I've always sweated the details.
Thats exactely what happens to those "immaculate" cars that never get driven. Everything dries and they just break the moment you move them again. Thats why I drive my F40 min 1000-2000kms a year, best way to maintain it !

They usually do that. Yeah, they should've had the cars alongside while he was talkin about em. Could also be that the particular cars' owners weren't too keen on it. Some collectors don't permit pictures or videos to be online even though the cars would be on the lawn during such events. Tends to happen alot when it comes to Ferrari collectors
As a fan since you started the channel to see this vid an what your doing at Curated is awesome. This vid was as fun to watch as a sporting event an the story telling sucked me in so much i actually felt the joy of victory.....crazy what cars can do.

Not that I don't love hearing you tell stories, and you can be as verbose as you want since you have an Ed Bolian level of vocal charm and resonance, but the guys in the back must be true wizards and I hope we see that on the Lamborghini builds.
Think they're missing one class, the 'Golden Cavallino' for the most perfect high mileage Ferrari. They must do at least 5000miles between each time they are presented for the award. they get to display a golden cavallino of that year on the car!!!
One thing I will never understand ~ while I do understand that you want a complete package including tools, would it not be desirable to have a complete tool kit which had signs of use? I mean used tools are not inferior, unless damaged, and as they are high quality tools unless damaged they should be perfectly functional.

Pro tip- use glob mops instead of qtips. The material and stem are firmer than a qtip and they don’t shed everywhere.
