Okay so, im a woman and a HUGE kdrama fan. Something thats extremely common in most romance kdramas is that the male lead is extremely rich. These dramas are extremely popular amongst women, which is the target audience of the writers. However, what needs to be understood is that this doesn't really mean that women of good character prefer men like that or something. Infact, the only reason why these dramas are so popular amongst women is because these male leads are close-to-perfect human beings. They're goodlooking, smart, rich, popular etc. So when the seemingly-ordinary female lead gets all the love of such a perfect person, it makes women want to be in that situation too. But in reality, any person a women falls in love with will seem as 'perfect' and cool as the male leads in these kdramas. The reason why kdrama writers make male leads like that is because theres no other way of capturing the audience's attention and making the audience fall in love with the character, since they cannot truly interact with this character. But, when we meet people in real life and start to love them, its because of our interactions with them, and somehow all thei flaws disappear, making them seem 'perfect' from our perspective, thats the psychology of attraction. So the truth is, even if you aren't wealthy, goodlooking, smart etc., you will still seem like the most perfect man on earth to a woman who is in love with you c: Also, I'd like to add that marrying someone who is from a significantly different economic class than you comes with its own problems. The problems you'll face are gonna be very different from the problems that you were used to facing your entire life, so that just makes them even worse. Thus, true comfort for a woman does not lie in something like suddenly being much richer.

I have to disagree with that point. Let's consider two men, both practicing Muslims and gym-goers with fit bodies. One is considered good-looking by societal standards but isn't wealthy; he can only provide basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing, and struggles to pay bills on time. The other is average-looking by societal standards but is very rich. If a woman had to choose between them, I believe she would choose the wealthier man. This is just my opinion, but I think it holds true. If both men go to the gym and the only differences are that one is handsome but poor and the other is rich but not as good-looking, then yes, money can attract high-quality women. You don't need to flaunt your wealth, as that's cringe but if a woman knows you're financially stable, she'll definitely be more inclined to live with you as she wants to go on dates, she would want expensive clothes, she would like some free time (if you are rich you can afford helpers in house to assist her with the chores) you won't die single if you're poor but chances of you getting the "wife of your dreams" increase when you're rich (also note that practicing Muslim includes good character too)
