I play red alert with my dad who is 59 years old and in the 90s we used to play it together with lan but he isnt as fast with building a base as he was back then, so i make maps that i can easily defend by myself so he can build his base before we destroy the AI.
@@ThaBongSmoker I remember playing with my dad on PS1 link play back in late 90s/ early 00s. I sometimes still get them out if he comes round and set it up. It's still so much fun. He runs the defense and contributes a small amount to the army and amass the main force. Same strat for the last 20 years.
@@AlexSPQR I used to play it with my dad in those years on pc we had 4 pc's in the house and now we play the remastered versions together with hamachi. Its really fun!

Dude you really don't need that many silos. Build an expensive building, have it complete, then cancel. Repeat. It takes money from your silos first before anything else.
Can you explain how you can train 5 troops in 1 click because i just downloaded it but i dont know the shortcuts and also how do you select a ready building without clicking on it in the menu?

I used to love these games when I was young, im 36 now and it's been awesome finding your channel and watching the past day or two. So many memories. It makes me want to install them again. It is quite easy even with 6 AI against one player if there is a choke point with water both sides. :D

I like this map because it allows you to build up your forces before the attack, which is half the fun.

i just build silos in skirmish i useally build more refineries but then i get alot of miners lol

Holding shift while clicking on the unit you want to train

i was really hoping they would improve the AI and use of AI naval warfare in the remaster but sadly, this game is still too easy to win
There are some good mods to make the ai smarter and make them use Naval and superweapons!
