For the people confused why it’s a little lacking for Titans/Hulks/Harvesters is because it’s for the middlemen of the Factions. This goes for Devastators/Broods/Overseers anything else that fits in that fold. With the gentle tap of the burst a single missile can eliminate them and take off the stress of a fight, use artillery for when a drop is summoned to also take out lighter troops close to medium as an added bonus. Sure you can always fire it at larger troops but you’ll sink time and ammo into it and I only really recommend it as a last resort or you are behind a cannon turret or see a weak fabricator. It’s just many things are better to take out larger foes Also BRING THIS TO ILLUMINATE AT ALL COSTS, The Overseers elevated or not don’t stand a chance against the WASP.
1 downside is bullet is random sometime it is not hit target even in clear area and if enemy too close you will miss the shot and if something blocks you it will instant kills you other than that its cool 1 shot overlords/jet overlord/watcher
I just use it tonight and it can't took down a behemoth in 2 rounds which means it was so useless against heavy.I ll keep it for illuminate.Not for bugs or bots.
It’s about 4-5 shots from my testing for a charger. Inconsistent for a bile titan unfortunately because it hits the legs so me and my friends couldn’t get a number on the amount of shots. It can 2 shot gunships and 1-2 shot most berserker/medium hive from up to 300ms away tho so I really like the weapon. Just gotta bring something like thermites for if they get too close and a big strategim for the titans and striders.
Nope it was available for only the squibs for a short amount of time then they just give all of us the stratagem weapon for free as well as giving it on all missions rn
God the spear really has had the worst lifespan on this game -it was the first weapon that could one shot bile titans -plagued with lock on issues causing it to be nearly unusuable -lock on bugs finally fixed then the recoiless and EATS could also one shot bile titans more reliably -alternative version is added thats better in every way Justice for the spear
It was literally made to counter the flying tanky squids, I don’t think it’s well balanced among the other factions hahaha, I mean these mf squids got force fields and jet packs, meanwhile the automoton are out here trying to figure out how to make a cannon that a helldivers won’t just obliterate in one shot.

Honestly I find the illuminate pretty easy to deal with . The AT emplacement completely deals with their ships and harvesters and a guard dog and blitzer deals with everything else.
It can be fun, but it really struggles against chargers and Titans. Even with the artillery setting, I was getting direct hits and taking three shots per titan while one tapping heads with the recoiless ( on a map where you got the wasp as a free slot). It did better against bots but dumped entire ammo on factory strider once in regular, once in artillery ( two different striders, two different weapon call ins) and the striders did not go down. I have seen video of people successfully dropping them, which makes me think it is inconsistent. It's still fun, just not equal or better to pre-existing options, in my opinion.
I couldn’t figure out how to shoot this thing or get it to lock on for the life of me it worked for a game or 2 than just stopped even had another guy trying to load it but I couldn’t shoot idk how to help a brother shoot theirs either very confusing

Use the Artillery for medium armored targets only. And for the rest burst is the go to.
Wrong artillery has light pen that’s for things like patrols or large groups burst is for buildings mediums and heavys

I think its too weak for a weapon that has a long reload and also occupies the backpack slot.
