      People said he was just mouth glad that opinion went south
      People said he had no good defence but he actually had a 7th sense
      Faster than sound and sent champions to the ground

    The reason why everyone was shocked during his interviews and couldn’t fully grasp a boxer like Ali was because Ali was 30-40 years ahead of his time. What boxers and fighters are doing today………boxers and fighters hardly did any of that stuff back in the day (being flashy, flamboyant, trash talking the way Ali did and backing it up at the same time) they never met a boxer like Ali. He opened up a whole new realm for them they just weren’t ready for. He had swag before that was even a word.

      I would like to agree that Ali opened up doors to do the same for others making it mainstream, but Ali wasn't the first. You might not know but there was a boxer named Jack Johnson who if I wanna say was far braver then Ali do to their different time periods. Jack Johnson was born in 1926 where racism was deep. Black people dieing left and right, kkk, linching, exacuting black people in broad day light. Imagine a black heavyweight man walking around with riches, trash talking, being flamboyant, being flashy and to top it off he loved to date white women. At that time no such thing was heard of. Emmett Till a 14 year old boy was killed for so called whistling at a white women during segregation time. Can you imagine the hate, threats, and how many people wanted him dead. He even fought at an arena where there were people watching the fight and ready to kill him. But he didn't stop he continued to go on and fight winning championship. I'd say Jack Johnson was first. Even Ali and Mike Tyson said to be the baddest. He was known as the man without fear. But don't get me wrong Ali deserves credit too as I'm also an Ali fan.

    Some people just couldn't handle him lmao You're not a loud mouth trash talker, if you actually mean what you say and prove it to be true. At that moment it's just spitting facts and that's what he did, because the man is proud of himself and we should all come to point where we can be confident and proud of ourselves💪🗿

    Tbh his rhyme is so beautiful that can be recreated as a lyric to a modern rap song.

    • @justforever96
      @justforever96 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because rap lyrics are beautiful? Anyway there is literally no difference. A rhyme is a rhyme, as long as it has a meter and rhyme, one set of lines is exactly like another. If someone played a beat and repeated his words in time to the beat, they would be rap lyrics. Although I am not convinced they would be superior lyrics. The best rap lyrics are ones that use clever rhymes or metrical forms to form a musical pattern. "Money" and "Sonny" is hardly groundbreaking stuff. If it was spoken the right way it would still sound good as a rap lyric, but by itself it isn't that creative. I somehow doubt he even made it up on the spot either, so I don't even give him credit for quick thinking. Not to say it wasn't creative and deserves credit, but it isn't genius or anything.

    • @justforever96

      I took that to be him stumbling over the word for a moment and patient to make sure he was saying the right word. Normal thing to do. And even if he was pausing to make sure he was speaking "facts" (which he wouldn't because that is entirely a matter of opinion, who defines what "the biggest upset" is anyway?), he would be making sure it was indeed the biggest of the century, as opposed to the decade, or year. If he wasn't sure it was the biggest at all (in his opinion) he would have stopped before saying "the biggest upset", not before "century".
