This series is, hands-down, THE BEST and most informative I’ve seen on what to expect of my surgery. I just had mine and I’m still in the break-down phase. I don’t recognize myself.
It’s amazing how you even talk about lip stiffness, I was even considering another surgery to “fix” mine.
I know we’re all different, heal differently and at different pace, but seeing I’m not alone, makes me feel I’m NOT crazy for sensing and obsessing over those little details (which right now don’t feel little at all, but I’ll get there).
I don’t think you realize how much of a blessing you are for people feeling like I do right now.

Omg. 14 days out of mine and I had a whole breakdown 2 nights ago. Crying & freaking out bc my smile isn’t the same. Thank you for your comment. I’m watching these videos to see if anyone else is experiencing the same. Praying my smile comes back. My upper lip doesn’t go as high as it used too
@@cindysummerperez2132 Oh dear! I feel you; but please believe me, it does get there. 1+ year into it, I'm the happiest I've ever been.
My advice:
Mark 15, 30, 45, 90-day milestones and note all the big changes you have in those days, or you can keep a weekly record if it's more comfortable for you. While you get to the next milestone, work a lot on your self-concept, because even though it's a tremendous physical change, the psychological part, takes the bigger hit and no-one talks about it; see yourself in your mind as the beautiful woman you are and how even more beautiful you'll see yourself when this is over; it will be challenging because all that stiffness and swollen and bandages in the mirror won't let you see it for a while, but your imagination does a wonderful job at it. I wish I could go back and give myself that advice: Work on your self-concept!. Good luck and the best of vibes! You'll get there :)

I am 17 almost 18 and I’ve always hated my nose and it has always consumed my thoughts. I have a dorsal hump and need a chin implant. I watched your video after hearing that you were also going to Dr. Kosins and so seeing your videos has really prepared me for my upcoming rhinoplasty in August. I just want to say thank you so much for documenting the whole process it has given me so much more peace of mind and really prepared me for my decision

Out of all the nose job before and after reviews and updates, you are by far the best one. I wish I could give you 1000 likes in one click. This may sound funny but I always felt I had a child to raise with my nose. It was annoying lol.
I am 8 months post "closed" rhinoplasty. I still feel swelling and numbness but I am a bit worried as I feel that my side profile and tip looking the same. Not sure if this is normal.

I'm six weeks and it still has a lot of swelling but I'm definitely starting like it more...I still hated it at three weeks though.

Hey! I just wanted to ask how did the swelling on the on side of your nose felt? Because I’ve just recently had my surgery, it’s been 3 weeks and i have developed a little bump that feel pretty hard and I don’t know if it’s swelling or bone that the doctor probably didn’t shave properly…it’s hard to tell. How did you know it was swelling and not a permanent bump?

Thank you so so soooo much for all of the videos! I do have a question tho...do you know what kind of implants he used for your chin? My doctor is recommending silicone? And also do you ever have to change them? And I’m guessing the risks with the implants are rare?
Silicone. Yes risks with implants are rare - no you don't have to change it ever because it is solid -unless you eventually change your mind and want it removed or resized

The tip of your nose will never feel normal again, at least it didn’t for m and it’s been 20 years. I doesn’t bother me but it does feel weird to touch it and if you live in a cold area, your nose will feel cold before everything else and will drip constantly until your back inside and warm.

I got a rhinoplasty revision exactly 8 days ago. My cast came off yesterday and I do not like my nose at all. I really dislike the tip. I feel like it’s way too big and pointy. My doctor said it’s just swelling but I’m having an emotional breakdown. I have no support from family what so ever. How much did your nose change from surgery date to 6 month ?
the swelling goes very quickly.. just wait a few weeks and you'll immediately see the results of your nose job! plus, you won't have to worry about how it looks for the rest of your life after the swelling goes down because you'll be happy about it. :)
Hi babe - first of all it is way too soon to be worried about the outcome just yet - remember swelling plays a lot of tricks on your mind give it a good 6 weeks to get an initial improvement - it is very like just swelling

I see that your six months post op compared to your three months is a huge difference and your nose looks absolutely perfect. I just don’t like my tip. It’s so bulky and turned up.

Mary Smith - at first I felt the tip was turned up too - there’s two reasons -one is perception , because we are so used to the nose tip being droopy if you had a droopy tip - and second sometimes surgeons overcorrect the tip up just a little because the tip drops over the course of the year . I know this because I researched during the time I was panicking 😅. Not all of them do this depending on their style of stabilizing the nose but maybe ask your surgeon if he expects the tip to drop.

Thank you for this video very helpful. I have a question, did you see any changes in your skin after the surgery? I just had a surgery with Dr. Kosins on Jun-29 and Im noticing that my skin got very oily and my pores look so open. Did you experience any changes like those?

Lupita Negrete how are you doing now? What I have been doing is using tea tree oil and gently rubbing it into my skin after washing my face. It dries up the skin and is antibacterial, so it cleans, gets rid of oil, and prevents pimples.

Caysum21345 it depends on how bad it is - if mine wasn’t so prominent I probably would have been fine with it but I feel like mine was pretty bad

Ok wait u have or had a similar nose shape as mine wow I’m of Hispanic and some French descent so my features especially the nose are very prominent as well as my brows but I have a little bump on my nose as well as a arrow tip kind of thing and yours looks so similar and my nose forehead and jawline are my buggest facial insecurities but I don’t want to look completely different and have surgeries for all of them maybe just my nose one day and if I lose weight my jaw will look slimmer
