Another well done video. My wife is from Aarhus and we’ve been visiting for years. I think you captured the city very well. I’m really glad you made it to Salling Rooftop. Best entertainment value in town.
We were there in September. WE loved all the volunteers who were happy to suggest places to see. Nice quiet day after busy Copenhagen. WE had fun in a local grocery store…always interesting.
We loved how welcoming and helpful everyone in Aarhus was, especially the volunteers eager to share their favorite spots. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
you should´ve checked out the open air museum which goes through the history of the city from the middle ages to modern day. It´s very interactive with plenty of actors and buildings to explore in and out ;)
Absolutely far too many places to explore in a single day, like: AROS, world famous art museum in central Aarhus Den Gamle By, an entire town of old, authentic buildings from the middle ages and up to modern age, operating shops and craftsmen. A relatively recent addition is a 1974-district, which is quite unique because many visitors still remember this era. Also located in central Aarhus. Moesgaard Museum, pre-historic museum among the top ranked in the world. Unique architecture and surroundings in the countryside just south of Aarhus. Aarhus Ø, a new, modern housing- and recreational district, still being built, located on the northeastern tip of the port, on the areas once used by the old container port, now moved to the southern part of the port. The layout is inspired by the canals of Amsterdam (NL), with small islands separated by canals. Many architectural highlights by famous architects, buildings include Isbjerget (the iceberg, named so because of the jagged saw-tooth shaped design and the characteristic ice-blue glass balconies), and Lighthouse: 5 buildings, of which the latest, is Denmark's tallest apartment building with 44 floors and a viewing platform on the top-floor (named Aarhus Øje (øje = eye)), offering a sensational view of not just Aarhus, but far, far away. We see the iceberg in a panning at the beginning of the clip, but this clip is very old, from before the Lighthouse was built on the empty lot seen in front of the Iceberg. Mindeparken, a big park just south of central Aarhus, with the royal danish summer residency castle, Marselisborg, located in the middle. Tivoli Friheden, amusement park near Mindeparken. Far smaller than Tivoli of Copenhagen, but a nice park nevertheless.
Another great vlog and another lovely European city - they are all so beautiful! But tiring - you manage to stay really upbeat when sometimes I'm guessing you must be 'citied out'!
I am one of those who find Copenhagen too crowded and too overrated. Live the small town feel of Aarhus. And it’s lovely open areas in and around town. With open air museums of contepory art.
Å = AA, så now you know the sound of Å. Æ and Ø is pretty simple too, if you know German language, it is the same as Ä and Ö, if not, just use Google Translate and listen. Easy and simple sounds.

Thank you for your video! I have been living in Aarhus for a year now and it is truly an awesome city!
Thank you for watching! Aarhus really is an awesome city. We had a great time exploring, and we were so impressed.

It can be a bit exhausting, but places like Aarhus keep us going. Appreciate you watching and keeping us energized!
