Warframe mains always make the best guides about their favorite warframes instead of those "content creators" who just spam videos about every frame while also presenting some bare-bones info that you can just find in-game. I very much enjoy seeing a main talk about their champion in all games not only warframe because they have superior knowlage about a certan champion than anybody else but i also understand mmhblackey because he is more of a swiss army knife that knows a lot about the game in general but lacks most of the specific information. Picked up Ember out of curiosity from this video, and found her surprisingly fun! I'd been struggling with finding Warframe fun with all the other frames I'd been recommended, but I think the reason why was because I prefer a very active ability focused playstyle and didn't realize it. With the resurgence that just came up, I got Ember Prime and now I'm working towards a build for her.

This was a really awesome and in-depth guide, though I think it'd have been even better if you added a section to explore the secondary gear for builds. For instance, a proper dethcube build could help with her energy issues and would have been worth mentioning.

Love the video, i do play mine.. slighty different but the goal is very similar so I'll first talk about the things I run slighty differently, curious about ur opinion on them. Arcane Blessing - The main reason for this is become of immolation. You're right about the complete lack of armor however having 90% damage reduction from immolation is "effectively" increasing my eHP of Arcane blessing by 10 times with it's 90% reduction. I'll still get 1 shot at higher levels but I honestly rarely go into the thousands. My second Arcane is Molt Augmented just to throw that in. As a caster warframe like you said i actually went the max efficiency combo of Rank 4 Fleeting and streamline for 75% efficiency with Primed Cont to bring duration back to 105%. Archon Vitality to double dip into heat procs and I went precision Intensify as my Main source of power strength copupled with Molt Augmented. Power Drift in my Exilus. Next We got some Range... I'm some1 that looks at over extended and sees -60% strength and 90% range as only a 30% increase overall and range actually has some of the highest % per mod capacity mods in the form of Strength ang Augur Reach.. so I run them in exchange. Over extended and umbra intensity would be +15% more range but still -16% strength while removing the option of Precision Intensify and with +17 more mod capacity required. So we have; Fleeting Expertise Rank 4 Streamline Rank 4 Primed Continuity Archon Vitality Precision Intensify Stretch Augur Reach Leaving 1 slot left for Healing Flame. The "Main" issue with my loadout is with Intensify only increasing the effect of skill 4 so whatever u helmith gets no benefit. I considered Eclipse to get a double dip on dmg reduction with the archon vitality and arcane blessing hp pool...
I really wanted to play ember again after leaving her to collect dust for a long time, mainly because of the new, uhm... assets she got. c: Thanks for reminding me of multible things i should use and do on her, for instance i was too focused on gaining energy with equilibrium and a pet with synth deconstruct to spawn a lot of orbs, or exothermic and energize, and stayed at base efficiency. Now ive tried a build with 175% efficiency and no orb generation at all, and... its somehow much more sustainable, because the normal energy orb that will spawn every so often with energize will fuel so many more casts, i would have never guessed. The math doesnt check out in my head, but it does ingame, and thats all that matters.
Loving the build - I'll admit though that I've been having fun tweaking it a bit. I really feel that you're underselling Exothermic on the standard Roar build. Running Exo instead of Streamline (to keep the Dmg reduction from Hatred), which lets it dip into Energize and tops up Flow really easily. Admittedly I was also running a strong melee that could burst down enemies while they were still under the effects of her 4, so that kind of helped too.. anyways..

@IlUnreaLIl I personally use amber archon shards for orb effectiveness on Ember. It's a nice bit of extra energy outside of Energize, which can't always proc.
Another way to say "abilities are sluggish and you need to keep spamming them" is "her ability don't really do a lot of damage". It's a bit sad, but that combined with her inflexible play style means that she's just a bit too gimmicky for me. Regardless, great job with the full explanation!
Ember really shows how outdated a frame can be. Fireball needs to be cast away and reworked into something else that isn't a pure damage ability/projectile because it will NEVER be better than Inferno. Inferno needs another scaling factor so that's it not as much of a slow cooker as it currently is. Her abilities in general need some sort of way to interact with weapons to provide more flexibility.

I got a question about this though, does the 90% dr from adaptation scale along the dr of your second ability at all or does it stop at the highest dr one of the 2 can bring meaning in very high level content enemies would still one shot through them, meaning the overguard mod is still better along possibly rolling guard ? I saw plenty of build guides running adaptation but i've never felt like it brought any real purpose other than extra safety for super high lvl missions

Despite your section on heat inherit, I have to admit it's a concept my brain refuses to fully process. So... how good is Ophanim Eyes as a subsume on Ember? Would its heat stacks interfere with our damage negatively? Is the slow irrelevant? The armor strip is meaningless since Fire Blast already does that. Or does it work, but just not well enough to warrant a spot on the cool kids' tables with the likes of Roar, Breach Surge and Thermal Sunder?
Why run Molt Augmented over something like Arcane Steadfast? If energy is such a big concern, is the (eventual) 60% strength worth it over the energy saved from Steadfast?
Molt Augmented is mostly for scaling Ember's damage during endless. I'll admit I don't actually have a maxed out Arcane Steadfast (still trying to complete my arcane collection), and because of this I haven't gotten to trying it out on Ember yet. Theoretically, though, Steadfast could provide a lot of energy savings. A 20% chance to proc is pretty reliable when you're casting abilities constantly like Ember wants.

Ember honestly shouldve had a more extensive rework. I still dont understand why she has all these drawbacks nor do I get why her 4th skill is still kinda lackluster for nuking. Why would you play Ember for nuking when you can play Gyre for a much easier and comfortable nuke experience?
@idonthaveaname7769 Dispensary is fine, but I have a few gripes with it. It is quite immobile, which is fine if you are playing a mission where moving around a lot isn't important, like defense or survival. However, in more mobile missions like exterminate (which Ember does quite well in), trying to use Dispensary will only be slowing you down. I highly recommend Citrine's Fractured Blast instead, especially if you are already using Equilibrium. It's more flexible than Dispensary, and it achieves the same result, generating orbs.

Really, Immolation's Heat Meter could very well be integrated into her passive the way Gauss' Battery is and thus clear a slot for something else.

Personally I run augmented with steadfast, equilibrium, equilibrium shards, and a company that with a few ways to provide more health or energy orbs.

With Healing Flame, why not use Archon Intensify?

Would subsuming dispensery with equilibrium be good or is that only good for like a mid level build
