I used this product and I love it. You need to leave it on much longer. Also use an application brush to help with your coverage, don't use sparingly. I leave mine on for 45 minutes without shampoo for a week Then add leave-in conditioner and Infusium 123 for added protection with a little olive oil for shine. It usually lasts 3-4 weeks it will lighten up gradually.

Whenever I use a semi permanent colour to cover my greys I leave it on a lot longer, like 45 min to an hour. I know with permanent box dye leaving it on longer does nothing but I figured since it coats your hair in a way that will wash out it couldn't hurt. It works for me anyway😊 I use natural instincts semi permanent usually but I love the method and product you used. Since really it's just around my face where I get greys it would be so much neater. I would still give it a try.
Your grey streak looks so pretty on you. I wish mine grew in a a pattern similar to yours then I wouldn't colour it 😁-Kelly🇨🇦

Corrie V I’ve been a hair stylist for many years. If you try the product again or another brand, yes do leave it on longer but also make sure to really saturate the hair well. If it were me, I’d weave out as much gray as I could first and then apply the color. Saturation is key when applying all forms of color. Keep us posted if you try it again. Thanks for the video! 🙂
I'm absolutely in shock, normally Clairol products work for me and after 20 minutes and then rinsing my hair, THE GRAYS ON MY HEAD, ARE STILL THERE !!!! it's like I used invisible color.
I'm so disappointed.
But I really do like the new design it's easier to hold, I like the brush, it's easier to dye your hair and more controllable. I really like that !

I agree with you on the product design!!! The funny part i try to separate the brush from the tube to use it with other Miss Clario other semi product it didn't come apart

same, i tried twice. first 15 min and second time 30 min. just rinsed with water. Didn't blacken any grey. waste product

Thats a LIE I used it and followed the instruction. When I let stay on and rinsed out it didn't cover the gray and color!!!! I bought this cause it seemed easy to applied without mixing it the color I used was BLACK

I should have looked at the video and review for the Root Touch U Blending Gel. It did not work for me. What a waste of time and money. The powdered touch up products do provide an immediate cover-up.
Agreed, this was terrible!! I followed the instructions and it did absolutely NOTHING. What a waste of time and money.

yes but you will need to leave it on extra time because beards are very coarse, in fact anyone with coarse hair will need to leave on at least 45 min or longer - everyone needs to experiment with their individual hair type…
Your gray look beautiful though cz it is just in one spot. I like it.
My box's instructions said to apply on wet hair but you applied it on dry hair. I am confused should be it applied on wet or dry hair? Incidentally, even when applied to damp hair, it only blends/camouflages the grey hair but doesn't actually cover grey.
I wouldn’t recommend this, or any semi permanent color, on white hairs at all. Naturally white hair, as opposed to hair that’s been bleached to look white, does not retain color very well. If you’re wanting a less damaging alternative to covering white/gray hairs, try a demi permanent hair color. It won’t cover your grays 100%, more like 70%-90%, especially if your hair is on the healthier side, but it makes them so much less noticeable. Demi permanent color only penetrates the first layer of hair, so it needs to be redone every month or two. Semi permanent hair colors work with your hair’s porosity, so the more damaged your hair is, the more color “sticks.” This is a better option for people who are looking to slightly darken their hair, but it definitely doesn’t cover grays completely. It’s also a great option for those who are planning to get highlights in the future because as we all know, permanent darker colors are very hard to bleach out of hair, if not impossible. I use demi colors for my root smudges. You can buy demi permanent hair color and the activating lotion at Sally’s for under $15. Choose a warm/golden tone because that sticks to white hair better than cool/ash tones.

You need to use the full color, not the root touch up. The root touch up is for regrowths, not long grays. It's more like you used the wrong product. You're trying to use it like a shampoo on hair color. It doesn't work that way. The keyword in that product is root. It's for regrowths, not grays.

This is a horrible product. I did exactly what the leaflet said and all got washed off. The product has not been tested before selling. Useless.

Same here. Just tried it. Gave it close to twenty minutes and it honestly did nothing. I feel i just donated my money to Clairol.
Well that was disappointing... I wasnt expecting that kind of brush for an applicator.

Things are OK here, we are all in lock down and only going out once a week for groceries. Doug and I usually take a daily walk now that it's getting a little warmer here. I'm blessed that my day job has transitioned to me working from home.
How are things for you guys down south? We worry about our Southern Neighbors!
@@CorrieV In Ohio as of right now Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland are the hot spots. The county I live in only has 59 cases but we are all on lock down too. But so far so good here. We have been working on our basement so we can have another living space down there but since it's been so nice out we have been working outside and enjoying the sunshine. I try limiting myself to go to the store once a week for groceries
