Hey, to each their own guys. I think it's nice to do requests by fans 🤗 Rens lyric videos are just as much a piece of art as this visualizer. That's all I'll say. I've never seen lyric videos like he did for his Sick Boi album, which all the songs are rather dark and relate to his sickness, both physically, mental/ emotionally, and spiritually. And understanding how you feel about lyric videos, I'm pretty sure Ren would feel the same way if ever asked. As an artist, his video ideas are apart of his expressions as much as the song. So fun fact, I believe he only does the lyric videos when he is physically not well enough for a period of time to do actual videos. And tbh when he released his album, just staring at the album cover was boring. So he got creative with some people while he was recieving his first proper treatments in Canada after raising enough money from when he went viral with Hi Ren and they are truly awesome to watch. ✌🏼 ( From off the top of my head, I think the only actual videos he did for that album was Hi Ren, Sick Boi part 1, and Money Game part 3 [which he had to get clearance from his docs to travel back to England for]. ***I forgot Illest of Our Time too! but tbh when I watch that one, even though he is ripped n works out, you can see it in his face, dark circles under his eyes and sunken cheeks*** So, who knows, the songs are quite emotional so he might leave them as is or he might create actual videos for them now that the stem cell treatment is working and he is getting healthier. Hence, his latest releases being one takes again )

I am finally giving this video a chance. It isn't half bad, of course I've already watched and heard Rens first one and then his lyric video of this song. The lyric one was really good. Interesting visuals in this video, it is interesting how the images did almost make if look like what the song was about. At least I got through it. Good you did this by a viewer request. Important to get he is talking about literal crushing physical pain in this, and a lot of the time in other songs - his body has been in excruciating pain all the time for years - just some days better than others. All from the Lyme disease. ❤😊
The onomatopoeia line essentially equates to feeling like everyone treats your words like noise, or just sounds. Like there's no meaning to them, or substance to them. It's worse than dismissal, because dismissal requires someone to at least consider those words first. In this case, they are treated with the same care someone gives the clip clop they hear every time they walk in shoes.
I'm sure this isn't on you, but this fan made visualizer really makes the song hit different, and not in a good way. If you have the chance, listen to it on the audio track or with his lyric video. It's lyrically brilliant. It gets better with each listen. I can't even watch the reaction with that visualizer.

And they'd have these animations where they'd do the vowels, or the 'th' sound, pictorially showing how to pronounce a word and though there were technically words to the song, it wasn't that they were spelled out, but _how_ they were animated that was the point. Now take that premise and amp it up from a silly alphabet to a level like 'Seven Sins' and you've got a freakin' masterpiece. I think that's all the RENegades are trying to say.. I mean, fellas.. it's not like we really care of you watch it or not, we've seen the darn thing a gagillion times and we'll probably see it a gagillion more. I think they just wanted you to experience it through _Ren's_ vision, and not through the interpretation of a fan, no matter how thoughtfully done. Fans come and tell us how we need to react and how we need to like them lol we went thru the same thing with Harry Mack and Pete and Bas. Eventually people adapt to we're not really hunting views. If that was the case we would probably just react to whatever is viral. We literally listen to our subs and whatever we do is usually voted by them. Listening to the music and deciphering bars and if we like or not is our part. Then we just move on to the next video lol we tell ppl to subscribe not cause we're chasing that because it ain't like we're going to get extra money lol it's because we want ppl with these opinions to interact and be heard. They're great! I believe it was AI. Loved the reaction. While some complain you missed the point, I don't think Ren would agree. Ren often (such as the pig mask) is reticent to describe what he means, mostly because he wants it to speak to people where they are and not where he wants them to be.
This video is exceptionally well made and the filmmaker did a great job depicting the lyrics and catching mood of the song albeit all CGI and AI. I like the Ren characters he created. Ren's official lyric video was released months later and I personally didn't like it as much as his other lyric vids made by the same folks. Their style also gets repetitive.
I think fan art is fantastic (no pun intended!), but also, I think you should show the respect to the artist by listening to the original, not a fan's concept of the song. I highly doubt that your subscribers want you to do otherwise. I'm guessing they want you to do both--- but original first. Ren's been making music for longer than NF so, if anything the inspiration is likely the other way around. :) Ren was signed by Sony, in his late teens but only a few months into the contract his illnesses just made it impossible and the contract lapsed. Ren ended up bedridden for 7 years, in constant chronic pain, making proper sleep impossible and becoming highly allergic to virtually all food, so on a diet of about half a dozen thing liquidised. Most of the time he was too tired and in too much pain to do anything. Even reading, watching tv or socialising were impossible. When he did have the occasional better day, all he'd do was write, record and practice playing. He thought he'd be dead before 30, so he crammed music into every moment he had. A correct diagnosis and two stem cell transplants eventually improved things considerably but he remains chronically ill, easily tires, still has to have pretty much the exact same meal, every mealtime and remains in constant pain, just of a lesser magnitude. The first part of the song describes the moment when the his mind couldn't take any more, snapped and he entered full-blown psychosis. He'd managed to make it downstairs, somehow, but the wave of pain was so overwhelming that he was literally on the kitchen floor screaming and digging his nails into the laminate flooring, as the opening of the song describes. Since his partial recovery Ren's become determinedly independent. No label, no financial backing, no PR machine, no management company. Every label under the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down! With Ren it really is all about the music! :) You should check him out. He's an incredible artist! He does every genre and does them all brilliantly! He plays about a dozen instruments well. Half of them ridiculously well! All self-taught! He has incredible vocals, capable of multiple voices, styles and tones. He raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly! He's his own sound engineer and producer and is excellent at both. He directs most of his own videos and many are recorded live, in a single take. He's become known for his live, 1 takes! His performance skills are first-class too and his stage presence is palpable. His songwriting is world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody good poet at that! He doesn't miss! :)
Can't subscribe to someone pretending to react... You guys judge Ren after not getting 80% of his lyrics and after you keep talking during parts of the song. It's one thing to have an own opinion but if it's based on just a few punchlines that stood out you are simply being unfair and disrespectful to the artist.

You should check him out. He's an incredible artist! He does every genre and does them all brilliantly! He plays about a dozen instruments well. Half of them ridiculously well! All self-taught! He has incredible vocals, capable of multiple voices, styles and tones. He raps like a rap god, scats and beatboxes brilliantly! He's his own sound engineer and producer and is excellent at both. He directs most of his own videos and many are recorded live, in a single take. He's become known for his live, 1 takes! His performance skills are first-class too and his stage presence is palpable. His songwriting is world-class! Especially his lyricism. He's a poet really and a bloody good poet at that! He doesn't miss! :)

Can't subscribe to someone pretending to react... You guys judge Ren after not getting 80% of his lyrics and after you keep talking during parts of the song. It's one thing to have an own opinion but if it's based on just a few punchlines that stood out you are simply being unfair and disrespectful to the artist.
They're not pretending. They're giving an HONEST reaction. Today, they made a video that DIRECTLY ADDRESSED Renegades like you, who can't handle the fact that they react HONESTLY instead of just effusively complimenting Ren on EVERYTHING he does. The Black Speed does the same thing and I watch him bc I value HONESTY over BULLSHIT. These dudes are into Hip Hop - do you think Ren is a hip hop artist? No. He's an artist who DOES hip hop. The parts that are true to the genre are the parts they seem to like. The parts that don't - they understand, give him props for what he's doing and they move on. What they DON'T DO is PRETEND to react. They judge Ren critically from the perspective of people who love Hip Hop.
