Tenzin Tsundue is a prominent Tibetan activist and writer, renowned for his unwavering commitment to the Tibetan independence movement. Born in India to Tibetan refugee parents, he grew up imbued with a strong sense of Tibetan identity and injustice under Chinese rule. Tsundue's activism gained international attention in 2002 when he famously unfurled a banner reading
"Free Tibet" from a hotel in Mumbai during a visit by the Chinese Premier. An author of several books, his writings poignantly express the struggles and hopes of the Tibetan diaspora. Tsundue’s life is a testament to his dedication to nonviolent resistance and the Tibetan cause.

So different from the ungrateful Kuki refugees who came to India from Myanmar, living under the disguise of ST population, grabbing lands and rights of indigenous people, distorting history and now demanding for separate administration within the host country ..!
Amazing to see the humbled nature of the Tibetan brother, not forgetting the roots, the dire struggle and desire of the Independent Tibet with that love and respect for the host country, India... GOD BLESS 🙌🫡

Tibet was part of the last dynasty in China.
      The Qing dynasty.
Their language is related to Sino-Tibetan language and that family of language includes Chinese, Tibetan, and Burmese, etc.
The area you spoke of is Tarim Basin, not the entire Tibet as we know it today.
" Most people aren’t aware that until about a millennium ago, the Tarim Basin (northwest of Tibet) had Indian cultural influence. It was a flourishing part of the Sanskritic world and its people spoke the Gāndhārī language."

That the scriptures lost in the fires in Nalanda which raged for months it is said, had been translated to Tibetans by the scholars there and cherished as sacred in a *GoI project of Centre of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, around 400 Tibetan scholars are translating back these to Sanskrit in its pristine form* seems to be a way in which Tibetans are paying their Guru- dakshina to India. Thank you with all my heart that the new generation can have hope to the access to these.

One important statement made by Tenzin in this conversation was that-
Tibetans always focussed on internal and spiritual strength but neglected the external strength (military, arms training) which brought them to this fate today.
Conclusion: External strength is necessary to maintain the inner strength and peace.
