Helpful....Thanks.
So helpful!!
For the key that gets entered into the "Points to", do you include the period? I'll assume no since you didn't use it but I feel like it's strange that it gets generated with it.
Apologies for late reply. I didn’t include period.
Apologies for the late reply. That is correct , I didn’t include the period.
Thanks
helpful, thanks
Hi, Can you please help me in letting know what to use for Domain field if we are using Office 365?
Hello Kalyani. Apologies for delayed response. Domain field contain domain of your company’s email address. E.g. noreply@yourcompany.com, here domain will be yourcompany.com
if you have 2 domains and set-up 2 DKIM's how does SF know which one to route it through on creating the email in SF from say a contact
It will map to the domain you used for sending that email..
when an email is sent from SF, you have to select ‘From Email’. that selection will decide on domain to route through
I'm still getting the same spam warning in my inbox.
Steps I followed:
1. Create a DKIM
2. Update the CNAME and Alt CNAME in DNS server
3. Activate the DKIM key.
Please let me know if I missed anything
Note - Organization-Wide Addresses is also added
Whats your email deliverablity settings in Salesforce?
@@salesforcestepbystep3502 Thanks for the reply
Under email deliverablity setting I'm getting 'Email domain filters' & 'Email Relays' and there is no records in both of them, both are empty.
@@salesforcestepbystep3502 Thanks for the reply
Deliverablity setting:
Access level - All email
All are unchecked except 'Enable compliance with standard email security mechanisms'
how did you navigate to the DNS page?
DNS page is from my domain provider. Every domain provider will have that page.
@@salesforcestepbystep3502 SO basically if i am working in xyz company then the domain of this company will have its own DNS page and also this thing is solely by Admin or it needs help of a IT guy?
thanks in Advance
Correct, every domain e.g Salesforcestepbystep.com will have access to manage its DNS settings. This is typically provided by domain provider eg GoDaddy or IONOS
Does this work when sending emails to leads?
Yes, this should work for all the emails sent out of Salesforce including leads.
Can anybody help me with my Salesforce not landing in the oulook inbox it's sent in a spam box
You explanation is fast. There is a difference between the level of your skill and the learner's skill. Most of the time you assume everything is explained.
