Here 2 years later. Still mad at Disney 🤬. This was a great product with actors with great chemistry who both put a comic book story to life. And with all the other programs they had to pull it. This is still one of the best marvel products produced

Honestly, I'm so glad they're leaving New Orleans now. We get to really explore these characters outside of their home. I've been waiting since season 1 for them to leave. But, what caught me off guard, is that Tyrone and Tandy aren't gonna get their High School Degree tho, lmaoooo. Also, if none of you have heard the news. There's a chance that Marvel's Runaways and Cloak & Dagger might do a crossover. So that'd be cool, just like in the comics.

They should really give their powers a more phsyical feel. Like I get Tandy's powers are basically light, but they should have mass. It shouldn't look and sound like nothing's there. It's just a little detail that irks me is all.

Also, there was an episode in Agent Carter where 2 ppl went into and then came back from the "Darkforce Dimension". Is that the same dimension where the Loa reside?
@marivil61 if I remember correctly, in agent carter, they never actually show how the "Darkforce dimension" looks like. But when they asked the guy about it when he came back, he describes it as an"unrelentingly cold and dark place". Which is kiiiiiiiiinda how it looks like in cloak and dagger. at least when they first enter it.
I know this guy is a monster but the guy playing him is a damn good actor I cant believe it wasn't renewed for a 3rd season but show like Riverdale hit their 5th.
I actually liked the grittiness of the Cloak and Dagger comics back in the 80s Too bad the budget here was so low. Cloak's cloak looks like a fabric garment but in the comics you got the sense that he was wearing darkness itself

After the explosion, he saw his own troubles as an excuse to hurt people and then acts like it's about his 'survival'. He talks about the pain the world put on him, but frankly after learning about the pain of people from the MCU like Tandy, Tyrone, Killmonger, Zemo, Wanda, and Pietro, it seems trivial (I get how losing the ability to play his music because of a condition can hurt, my dad also had to give up playing due to health problems and it was really difficult for him because he's been playing all his life but he never once took it out on the other people around him or used it as an excuse to hurt others) and basically proves that he's nothing more than a self-obsessed narcissist with delusions about himself, his abilities and his general personality. Now he sees Tandy throw her daggers and doesn't even consider she might not be aiming them at him. His arrogance was his downfall.
The comic book scene where Tandy come out of Tyrone was Beyond epic and simply Marvellous!!! It's been about a month since I finished watching this show and not a single day passed by without me watching these scenes 🥲. Never needed a show more badly than this so pls make season 3 happen. It is not too late.

One thing they really hate is when a mortal tries to act like he or she is on the same level as them or even above them. Sisyphus tried to avoid dying by tricking both Hades and Persephone. His punishment was to roll a heavy stone up a deep hill which rolls back down to the ground every time he reaches the top so he has to keep rolling it up for all eternity. Tantalus tried to trick the gods by killing, cutting up and cooking his eldest son and then inviting the gods down to his palace to eat his son. His punishment is to spend eternity in a river whose water recedes every time he tries to drink from it while being surrounded by fruit trees that are always just out of reach, so he'll now be hungry and thirsty forever. Bellerophon grew arrogant from his many victories, and started to believe that he deserved a place alongside the gods in Olympus and flew with the winged horse Pegasus to Olympus. Zeus angrily sent a gadfly to sting Pegasus which made him rear and fling Bellerophon back down to earth where he spent the rest of his days wandering the world alone avoiding the other men because he couldn't bare for other people to see how he'd fallen. Pegasus got a pace as a pack-beast for thunderbolts though. In other words, you get to be a god when the others say you can be one, you don't try to make yourself one.
if this show had a bigger budget, this would've been great. I actually liked this origin story. It tied in with Mr. Negative and could've been a possible guest to the show had it continued. Too bad it didn't get the same attention that the New Mutants had.
When I think of the most unforgivable villains in the MCU, I think of Red Skull, The Clairvoyant, Ronan the Accuser, Dr. Daniel Whitehall, Kilgrave, Ego, Hela and Agent Orange. D’Spyre earned his spot on this list, so watching his defeat and karmic punishment made me stand up and cheer.
this season was more about the women surrounding Tyrone...like trafficing of women, the life of a black women and abused women. That is why the focus seemed to be on Tandy but Tyrone's story was still prevalent.
Tyrone did play an important role this season. He inspired Tandy and Bridget and had a sort of leadership role throughout the story. A lot of the time, Tandy was very reliant on him, like how he needed motivation last season.
No but they mention that their leaving to a place were Bridget heard of girls washing up dead in the shore. Like how Danny(I think that's her name) is washed up dead in the shore
I'm glad we finally get to see them in uniform! They are a little bit off about the lore regarding marrying a Lwa. I hope they do fix that in season 3.
