  • It's the day after Scafell Pike, and a relaxing walk and Gondola ride at Coniston Lake is in order with plenty of laughs en-route... and then there's tears on the Old Man as Nath pushes Trev to his limits!
    This classic double episode of Summit or Nothing is full of banter, laughs, some stunning scenery from the beautiful Lake District national park.
    Kicked off with a trip on the Steam Gondola, the boys take a scenic and leisurely stroll beside the famous Coniston Lake, site of the tragic water speed attempt which took the life of Bluebird pilot Donald Campbell, as well as inspiration for the classic children's novel Swallows and Amazons.
    Then in the evening, Trev persuades Nath to hike up one last mountain, the Coniston Old Man, which almost backfires on Trev as Nath takes the role of Seargent major and pushes Trev to a pace he's not used to.
    Summit or Nothing is a great hiking channel, with Trev and friends documenting their conquests and outdoors adventures of hiking, mountain hiking and wild camping in some of the UK's most beautiful National Parks. So SUBSCRIBE now to keep up to date with our hiking vlog!

    That is a real slog that way,even tough coming down that way, much better to go round the walna scar road and past goats water.
    Great video again tho boys. Cracking work. Love the fact you film everything including the hard work and how shit it can be.

    What a beautiful boat..."The Larch" LOL . I have had a very close call with a "at speed" mountain biker at a hill crest... I do believe the Lake District would be the place for me if I ever came to England ... Which is highly doubtful... The sausage roll looked good. The second hike was earned indeed... Excellent team guys excellent!

    Nath, you need one of those little folding lightweight trowels. Curl one out into a 6inch hole, atleast 50-100 metres downhill away from a water source and bury it. Burn the paper or take it out with you in a ziplock bag. Sorted. Just sayin' 😏
    Love the Lake District. Loving yer vids.

    Hi Trev, only watched the first half but do you think the woman on the boat may of had a nut allergy? It can really effect some people, but if so she could have just said instead of just heaving and not saying nothing. Cheers Steve

    • @SummitOrNothing
      @SummitOrNothing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea we did think that ourselves afterwards actually, Steve. It was strange at the time but in retrospect yeah, she was probably having issues.

    On most of ur vlogs ur eating on ur walk that's good. Teach Trev to do it aswell and drink. We never see him eating energy bars not even a banana. Will help him up the fells.

  • @carolinesmyth127
    @carolinesmyth127 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lol, i doubt she was judging you. Some people have an extremely severe allergy to peanuts... 😄 Im laughing but its really no laughing matter. Their throats can swell to the point of asphyxiation 😮
    I like a bit of tree/plant id. Never know when it might come in handy.

    • @SummitOrNothing
      @SummitOrNothing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I knew a friend with a peanut allergy, so I know how serious it can be but he never used to eye me as I ate. It wasn't like we were close enough to her to get any near her... but oh, well... horses for courses and all that lol. Cheers for watching!

    • @carolinesmyth127
      @carolinesmyth127 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SummitOrNothing There are different levels of reaction. Sometimes, just the odour of peanuts can cause a conditioned physical response... not as serious as a full blown, life-threatening immune response, but very uncomfortable for the sufferer (drop in blood pressure/anxiety etc)... It's possible she was just real anxious. Having said that, had i been her, i would have verbally explained it to you so i didn't come across as some weirdo with issues, making you feel uncomfortable... I doubt I'd have put myself in a space with no escape possible (a small boat) if i had that kind of sensitivity too.
      So, she was a silly moo 😏
