Kirby has done another insane DIY van build and so happy Kyle was able to tour this for my channel. If the vanlife trader link is still in the description then it's still for sale. I really like this build. The atmosphere in there is very calm and nice. The interior looks very high class, and modern. The soft warm lighting under the cabinets, the finish.. its so nice. Deff. could be used as a mobile office or like your own hotel on wheels
I love the features, but I'd change the layout: One continuous lounge/seating/bed area behind the cab instead of splitting it in half, and the kitchen & bathroom way in the back. I was actually expecting the closet to be the shower until he opened it. I think you could even set up that space to do both, if you could slide/rotate out the closet.
The problem with the ironing board table it's very flimsy and it will break after a couple dozen uses You need to prefab something made of aluminum or better for that to work long-term
its actually very sturdy and strong! way stronger and sturdy compared to the Lagun Table. I can actually put my entire weight onto the table and it holds me up no problem.
can we talk about the genius in the little things like the sirroco fan being detachable and powered at the same time? HOW the magic? pls make a video about that
Attaching the positive and negative charges to magnets so when it magnets onto its space then it will auto turn on. Or think of it adding in a rely and the van is always on and then the magnets get a charge it completes the electric loop
@@JarrodTocci just to complete the picture, are the magnets exposed(live voltage/wire alert)? If not exposed and presumably the electric charge tranfers over insulation of some sort(wood shelf), 1. how much insulation does it need maximum (was used in this case) 2. What type and - 3. how big of a magnets were used for it to automagically work like that? Mid build and something I’d wish to replicate so gotta sass out the details 🙃
Thank you. Noted, Kyle was filming this and because we move so much and want to see as much as possible in frame it’s hard finding the “perfect” camera and lens. Adjusting will be done in future, thank you
@JarrodTocci TY! It makes me nauseous similar to sea sickness. If it's not moved much the fish eye is fine but when someone is walking around with it and moving it back and forth it just sets it off. Take care! Love your work!
Yeah, the thing about smart tint is that its DIY. I reached out to the company for the names of some their dealer/installers. The company refused to supply. Or, maybe it's because they don't have any. Companies that sell products that turn down revenue. I just don't get it!
@JarrodTocci do people hate on builders that don't do traditional carpentry? It was just how you said it that it's a thing. To me it's just another tool for the job, and if he can save on time with less wastage and repeatable on products then why not. Imagine breaking something, if he has it on cad he's just one button away from getting it shipped out to you. Once the machine has paid for himself the costs should reflect down to the customer making it all a no brainer. Sure traditional carpentry has it's place, so does oxy acetylene welding, doesn't mean it needs to be used all the time. Jajaja the table saw .... True!
I’m here. Kyle does a lot of my tours in San Diego (don’t worry I pay him). It’s easier doing that instead of me traveling. Plus Kyle and I have the same style and sense of building so I trust him :)
I like being able to use the window with that remote but the overall layout is just weird. It's almost like you're trying to make room for 20 people to sit down. Rather than make it homey for 1-2 people. And NO A/C is just wrong on so many levels. But I live in the middle of Texas and it gets HOT here.
He did mention he’d install the AC for free but customer would just need to pay for product. It’s all wired and ready to be installed. You’ll be surprised how many don’t want the AC
While this van has an initial nice visual presence it reveals a not so good build quality and a lot of corner cutting. It does not take much to see it. While still not an inexpensive van the price does reflect the lack of quality.
I was about to say it's too expensive for the quality. 140k everything should be 100 percent. Especially if it's mostly CNC. That should mean that door to the toilet lines up perfectly and it doesn't. Paying for looks and not features too.
excellent layout and design. the lighting is superb, giving a luxurious atmosphere. for the floor table, very well known on boats, generally on teak exteriors. congratulations for this achievement.
Kirby is a genius! I hope the dullness I’m sensing is just because winter sucks and he’s able to rest and find sunshine again by summer and nothing more serious than that ☀️

Some good points. Appreciate your insight
Kirby has a stylish design sense that evokes luxurious comfort and smart tech.
Damnnnnn what a package Kirby! 🤪 Amazing van too ❤ 0:23
😳
I like the shower idea and the light design of course. Great video again. Greetings from Germany! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
Very nice, great layout, style and build. Many put a bunch of stuff I don’t need and price it out of my thinkable range. This is perfect
HI, so awesome of a build, Kirby. I have stealth living in one of these as a dream.
So luxurious, beautiful work. 😍
Love the windows, I would still feel like I was being watched. 🙃
The problem with the ironing board table it's very flimsy and it will break after a couple dozen uses You need to prefab something made of aluminum or better for that to work long-term
Fair but I guess it’s an inexpensive fix too
its actually very sturdy and strong! way stronger and sturdy compared to the Lagun Table. I can actually put my entire weight onto the table and it holds me up no problem.
I knew that was an ironing board frame as soon as I saw it but using it like that is brilliant.
When I was editing I said the same thing when he lifted it up. It’s also a good idea 😂
Amazing build super talented.

yeah this is a sweet build
Very nice indeed. Fancy and functional
O Damm thats kick ass 🎄🌞🇺🇸
Looks like some good gear 😊
Wow! 🎉
Very nice
Looks good, just have to make the gaps smaller between the bed slats.
Does the Smart Tint windows block UV and heat from sunlight? Or would you still need separate window covers for that?
I believe it will help but not prevent. Best used as privacy
Is the ironing board part of the bed platform? Also wondering where he got the shower tub.
No, the table is separate
Genuinely Love this channel. ...Please ditch the fish eye lens
Thank you. Noted, Kyle was filming this and because we move so much and want to see as much as possible in frame it’s hard finding the “perfect” camera and lens. Adjusting will be done in future, thank you

Somebody forgot to turn on kirbys mic
Kirby is adorabro lol that van is epic af
6:00 hope those are some heavy duty ball bearing sliders as that looks like a shitty situation waiting to happen.
Yes they are

That’s annoying. Maybe I’ll put them on blast and do a video about it ;)
The CNC didn't build it, it's just a step up from the jigsaw, which is a step up from the handsaw 😊
Like where your head is at. I’d say step up from table saw, but same difference 😅

“Plumbing for water?” 🤔🤔😂
😅
Dude, this is REALLY really NICE. ❤
Video begs the question, who’s the lucky lady?
He's cute and a genius, wow! 😍😉
