Well I thought that was a good day. All of our established waters suffer with weed and this year has been the worst. A lot of people would have given up if they start hitting weed. So well done you to switch the method. Fishing the top can be key if the fish have been in there for some time. Quite often we do not see the signs of fish coming to the top. But they will often have an eye on the surface. Well done Ross. Shaun.
@@shaunfishes101 thanks Shaun... Appreciate that mate... I'll definitely be back there but I think it's time for a few weeks break now.. Let mother nature sort out the weed situation... Hope your getting on OK buddy
I've held back from going out until the water level goes up, my local big water is closed til mid Oct (That's 6 Weeks) and my club water is too low, which will push the fish out of reach, plus we can not get our boats out due to the distance to the water. Glad to see you hooked some nice fish, keep well regards mick
Tough days fishing Ross, had the same problem recently and had to stay on the top of the water too, will be heading up to Harpsdale soon(when it's not so weedy) but in the meantime it's back to the vise!!, great vid matey!! Keep up the good work!!!
Aye she was a hard slog indeed mate.. Mainly the weeds putting me off.. It's like that every year at this time... The place really comes into it's own over the winter months though... You know to give us a shout when your heading up 👆
@@50Squirrel cheers bud 👍.. Appreciate the watching... I use the street fighter model from Fox Rage... This one's the 2 piece street net... Big enough to hold the bigger fish
