    I think LeBron James and possibly Anthony Davis, are reasons why the LA Lakers head coach position hasn’t been filled. Based on both of them being outspoken, they initially agree upon the hiring of a new coach. Then about one (1) year later, they seemingly look for and find flaws about the coach and disagree with his vision for winning. Then they conspire and find a way to have him fired, literally becoming “coach killers.”

    LeBalco is a certified coach KILLER! He tried to get rid of Spo in Miami, but when he’s not happy in a team he sucks up the resources and then drains all the assets out before jumping ship. If what I said is true, why bother?

    • @KyleCox404
      @KyleCox404 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Oh, come on. Cope harder. The whole "LeBron is a coach killer" narrative is just another way for people to downplay his greatness. Erik Spoelstra is still coaching the Heat and has thrived because of the foundation LeBron helped build. As for "sucking up resources," that's called being a superstar. Teams invest in him because he delivers championships.
      Drains all the assets? Please. LeBron elevates every team he joins, and they benefit long after he's gone. Your bitter take reeks of jealousy. LeBron's impact is undeniable, and trying to diminish it with tired clichés just makes you look desperate.

    A GOAT RESPECTS the rules! A GOAT does not pick and choose which matchups he takes on (Oh KAT AND Gobert are out? My ankle's fine again!). A GOAT doesn't sit out multiple games because of a little boo boo. A GOAT doesn't let his teammates play 4 v 5 on defense while he stands around like a traffic cone. A GOAT's absence doesn't improve his team's chances of winning games! A GOAT doesn't complain all the goddamn time (without EVER getting techs!). A GOAT doesn't flop all over the court. A GOAT doesn't TRAVEL and does not activate FREIGHT TRAIN MODE!

    LeBron has never been a coachable player. His game is very limited and he can only play one way. Plus LeBron doesn't play defense, he takes all the credit when the team wins, and he blames everyone but himself when his team loses. Other than a guaranteed enormous paycheck, there is no reason anyone in their right mind would want to coach the Lakers unless LeBron finally retires or hops to another team.

I can't think of a single time Ham took responsibility for a loss. He will not be missed and his firing was definitely warranted. He didn't want the pressure that came with the job anyway.

    Why would anybody not want to coach the Lakers anymore? Because Lebron is a PAST TENSE. He is highly irrelevant now and has no capability to bring championship to LA. Even if he has no behavioral issues, he is not just worth the hassle anymore. Why would anyone aspire to coach a team with an incapable and toxic „star“ player? Oh don‘t bring me stats. That is utterly useless when it cannot translate to championship because of bad leadership. If he were Michael Jordan, he is worth everything because you know at the back of your mind that championship is guaranteed.
